Stereo is reversed

 

So it is! Well spotted It just goes to show that drinking and recording don't mix

 

Maybe that's how it was meant to be originally and the Mac were drunk on the session.

 

On the vinyl shoot there's less bass, less dynamic, less volume, less stereo image, less high frequencies etc... But the feeling and the vibe are so much better, we can only focus on what is really important : the message. It's more organic. I definitivly prefere the sound of the vinyl !

This album is an important classic - in every respect, and shouldn't be remastered or altered. imo.

 

I guess it's just wasting money buying expensive mics and outboard gear. With iZotope Nektar and a few plugins you are good to go
