I was convinced the autotune fad would die after, i dunno, five years but it's STILL GOING a DECADE LATER and seemingly will NEVER DIE! Gah!

 

This actually makes sense. I've learned a hell of a lot since I've been hanging around here, so my knowledge has widened quite a bit. Due to certain factors, most of us have to learn multiple skills as we are not part of a big team of specialists. I think that is what makes Audiosex unique, and also the fact we are all here for the love of it.

Have you just sent music or Lyrics too? hopefully both as there seems to be a "thing" now thats these "artist" hook up with a producer / musician to send them tracks. they work the track out and then they split with the song. as 80% ownership goes to the lyricist its hard to get any justice as the writer of the music . I've heard a few stories of this happening. my advice is make sure you have a contract signed before giving music to some bird to write her bad diary love song to it.

 

It's not that important as it only took me two minutes to find the chords using Chordpulse Making money is not the main motivation at this point in time, finding new contacts and networking opportunities, and building trust is where I am at I'd basically be happy with a free holiday as she lives in a place that I've always wanted to visit. The first one is on the house, but they would have to take care of me if they want anything else, and naturally I hold back all the best stuff
