I almost had a stroke and heart attack combo while turning my focal alphas on and the right one sounded like the chips inside were fried....you know like bitcrushing...i have them like a year or so.
    BUT
as soon as i gave the main speaker(not the tweeter) a little touch with my finger while playing, IT WENT FROM AN ACTUAL STUCK POSITION TO VIBRATING AGAIN...seems like the only thing that was playing was the twitter...now it sounds 100% like before...(yeah 100% i guess ill never know...)

    what is that?? :wtf:

    call/email focal and explain.
have you registered the product with them after purchase?
i just read there's a 2 year warranty on their stuff. i'd definitely reach out to them just to make sure it's not a replacement issue.

...but that is weird. never seen/heard of that before, and i've listened to a lot of monitors.

    decentered voicecoil!
if the voicecoil touches the polepiece or poleplate it gets damaged!
Never allow more than 6 - 9mm cone excurison!
