LOL agreed 1.5 is outstanding and will be impossible to notice. I think the term Zero Latency in general is misused in the sense that even with hardware you are still going to experience a degree of latency. As for a channel strip well or interface the new Focusrite Claret coupled with the fact that most PC's can now run thunderbolt makes for almost Zero latency in the extreme. They cost a bit more than the Hornet tho

If you worry about cpu, you can try to mix with 1 good channelstrip on the master out. Then just
do the filtering and subtractive eqing with stock DAW plugins.

 

Agreed. I mix like this all the time, using low cpu stock plugins for corrective tasks on individual tracks and more demanding plugins for creative tasks on busses and/or master.

 

in fact these console are same feature than original one so API is more punchy Neve is smoother but for me the best of three because the sound is so analogic and sweet this is my favorite and for ssl punchy and new version come with two eq style .. brown eq add and it's magic... For ssl version the duende version in native is very good also i forgot to mention before must have console by acustica audio like amethyst (99euros and for the sound ....), Navy great neve eq channel strip sound great ...so if you don't have dsp card duende ssl for the glue punch work on drumbus group and one from acustica for analog sounding

 

SSL Duende is by far best sounding and lowest cpu ''hitter".... the E channel mode. Insert it on every channel and your mixes will gain more depth.

Eventide Ultra Channel, Snagged that one for free, It's great.
Team DNR/DNR Collaborative Mix Control Pro is ace but the man behind DNR sadly passed away and the developer moved on.
If you can find that second-hand then go for it, I'm not certain on how that'd work though, I beta tested for the Pro Tools version so kindly got a license for my troubles which we're no troubles at all.
Unique Recording Software Classic Console Strip Pro 2 is very good but very over priced, I think it's still a great CS but there are so many other options nowadays I can not give it a full backing.
Wave Arts Trackplug 5 is a fine strip.
I still love my Focusrite LiquidMix, If you can find one going cheap and have a free firewire port, Really decent equalization and compression on tap.

As for great Equalization and great Dynamics in a pair of plugins which always deliver but are great on resources I'm saying Sonnox Oxford R3 EQ/Filters and Oxford R3 Dynamics, It is impossible to go wrong with that pair I've found over many years.
Really though whatever host you are using should have these areas covered already, I do not really know of any that do not (I'm a long time Pro Tools user and also a rather long time Live user, They come packing fine equalization and dynamics, In PT there's a fine channel strip gratis these days from a system 5 console, It's fantastic really and with Live's rack system combined with M4L devices it's possible to piece together any sort of channel strip imaginable, Especially so for top quality thanks to the fine coding delivered by Andy Simpler of FXpansion and Cytomic notoriety through The Glue compressor and EQ Eight)

Really spoilt for choice these days and my 2 pence FWIW, All the best to all as always
