You are totally right and i'm agree with you about energy .

i don't have pure psy release for now .

My release is more Tech-Trance sound with combination of psy and uplifting trance and it is other major label (scene like Armada, Black Hole Recordings).

Label boss told me that i need to keep my releases regulary and quality as last release to start get gigs in next years or future. As you know, it is not so easy to get gigs early.

Then do that. Take that ep or whatever it was and build from there. Do not try to re-invent the wheel with every song you put out. Re-use your sounds. E.g. use the same drums for all songs you want to make for one particular ep. Use the same bass sound. People want a signature sound from you, you want to have a high recognition value. You don't want to sound different from release to release, you want to evolve over time. This should give you enough freedom and take some pressure out so you don't have to start from scratch every time. That kinda is what I struggle with at the moment. I have so many loose ends in my head right now I can hardly get enough songs together that sound similar enough to be put on an ep together.

Day job can get really frustrating and can ruin your plans for making music, because there's little time and energy left in the end of the day. In the end I had to switch to part-time jobs and choose music over money and comfort, but I understand not everyone can make a choice like that, everyone have their own responsibilities. As for myself, I definitely felt better and happier when I switched to a part-time job as I was left with more time for music and that's what really mattered.

Practical idea: Why don't you start collaborating and have someone else write the melodies?
    Beside reducing stress, of course.

Btw.: To be bored by your own work may just mean that you're approaching the next level as an artist.
If you feel you have to develop but don't know how yet, it can give you a hard time.
It's not always easy to grow.

Most of our bad feelings come from "what would happen in the future?" to us as musicians. In dealing with the future, never shake with fright because it's your slave not you of it.

    Back to the roots...

Listen to some classical music, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Tshaikovsky, Eric Satie, Chopin, Mahler, Sibelius, Rimsky Korsakov. Don't judge, listen only.... Let your mind and soul be loved through this journey!

    Losing Passion For Producing Music
I believe one cannot really lose their passions!
Well, passions also need *air* = breath, room, times to step back & active times.
The more people force themselves into inadequate situations or setups, the more
they will encounter deceptions. Same when staying with persons who don't respect
them. Sometimes you have to make YOUR choices to step into a life that fits to you.
Make sure you're really satisfied with your life, if not change it. All the rest comes then.

It's a popular sentiment but there are major logical problems with it.

First fallacy: If one can't know happiness without first knowing sadness, then how could one have known sadness? One would have to have known happiness first......and one can't know happiness without first knowing sadness.........etc.

The implication is that all things are impossible to experience - because one must have experienced the opposite previously, and one couldn't experience that without experience of its opposite.

Second: every idea contains its logical opposite. The idea of UP also contains the idea of DOWN. Likewise the idea of happiness includes/implies that of unhappiness.

One doesn't need misery to know joy. Surely?

    ----------

@ TranceDarker: Why does your situation bother you? Why does a lack of passion (?) over melody/music bother you?

Part of you wishes to do it, but a part does not? That's conflicted. Why?

Alright my man. You need to go to acapellas4u.co.uk. Sign up. Type in an artist or word in the search. Pick an acapella and make a remix for you. Change a Marvin Gaye track to Dubstep. Make Duran Duran Gothic. Pick anything and change it up. I do this a lot to stay creative. Step out of your routine and venture where your minds takes you. Also, STOP ERASING THE MUSIC YOU CREATE!! Save that stuff and return to it at a later date. You might not be feeling it then but it make strike you differently down the road. Lastly, think music not work. It means nothing if you don't do it for you first. You'll get it back. Stay strong and shine on...

Number one cause for that is Equal Temperament - stop using that, and the music you create will actually make you feel good instead numbing you and your listeners down.

if you don t belive me, you are beyond the scope of my help, but that is just a suggestion bc i know that is a very large reason for causing lack of inspiration.

    Second:

You are a musician, you are sensitive to things: Stop paying money for someone killing a depressed being that is put on your plate that your stomach can not even digest bc humans never evolved to eat meat, thus their stomachs can not digest meat.

If you are eating meat, not only are you eating a form of protein that your body does not digest, you are eating the Sadness of all those animals. You are also paying for someone to steal someones life for your food.

Stop doing that, and you will feel a whole lot better inside and out

    Third:

Stop making music sitting in a chair. = best songs for dancing are composed when standing=dancing yourself

However No1 Reasons for any melody to lack purpose is Equal Temperament, tune your instruments properly, and the music you make will uplift not only you but the people listening to it.

Anyhow, i do not know the definite answer ( not being the know it all, and not knowing you and your habits, and not even wanting to bc it is not my business ) - but if you do any of the things mentioned above, then here are your answers how the get inspired again.

I had a big depression some years ago. My parents had a 40 meters long needle-tree hedge. I was asked to remove it by hand. (not in the style of Hulk) :)
    MAN, that was good therapy!
A friend of mine works with rehab for ex-prisoners. He says that what gives best results is to send those guys to the forrest
    and chop lots of wood.
Nature is the very source of inspiration for everything. Get away from the PC and mo-phones.

I used to make a lot really different music and it worked fine up to some point. But I started getting too accepting, like my taste was smeared in all directions. I think its important to develop a certain taste and to be clear about what that is.
By all means, experiment and dont be a one-trick pony like Modern Talking. But stay focused.
