Dont use Fl studio but though some people may find it handy

 

The funniest thing in this lazer videos is probably deadmau5 and steve duda controling him through the whole video so things don't get out off hand!

 

Honestly I find it hard to believe there is not even a little hint of the synth in that drum kick still.. I still think the whole msusic industry is a sham that's why I am making my own record label.

 

I tried it by myself in Ableton and the results are impressive actually. Cool tip...

 

Because
1) the synth is SC/ducked and comes in later
2) he uses multiband amplitude envelopes to cut out the synth.

He is basically layering the three main ingrediences of a kick: sine, lowpassed saw, FM, whatever (pitch enveloped or not), middy "humph" (anything really) and transient (click, hat, slap, tack, key-rattle).
