How to make this Medasin beats?

    Hello my friends!
    I'm blown away with Medasin sample pack on a sister site so I'm wonder how to make this sounds, because I'm very interested in sound design..

    The key to making beats like that imo is to layer in interesting percussion with foley sounds. Not much else really. Try looking around for foley and atmospheric rhythmic sounds, pick out some stuff from the packs and layer it in with your drums.

    So I need to use layering my standard electronic or acoustic drum kits with things that called found sounds?

    You don't actually need to layer with "standard electronic or acoustic drums", but make drums out of found sounds only. I've made kick drums out of hitting cardboard boxes, kicking plastic buckets, dropping an SM58, etc. It's amazing what you can do with (layering) some random sounds (along with EQ, compression/limiting, saturation, reverb, etc).
