Remember, Nebula technology is not an emulation..... it's Dynamic Voltra Convolution!

I'm as calm as it gets..... but since this is a Pink thread, I noticed you have not actually told us anything at all about your Pink experience. So tell us......

What did you think of Insane mode?
What comp settings worked best for drums for you? Vocals?
What EQ did you prefer, and why?
What DAW are you using Pink with.
What preamp did you like on drums? Vocals?
What was your CPU hit with 1 Pink? 10 Pink?
Have you found anything you like the bandpass pre on?
How many Pink maxed out you system? How did you test?
Did you like the new EQ's added last week?
How did Core 8 feel over Core 7?

Unfortunately, there's not much I can say because it's sort of not working? the EQ strangely wouldn't work for starters, and would just shoot back to it's init parameter. I'll just re-installing the demo.

But the compressor was working, and I can at least listen to the overall sound coming through it. It immediately made sounds very loud, so I had to turn down the output. There's a definite subtle enhancement though that makes things clearer to listen too. Even if I can't use it properly, that's really what counts. With the 30 days, I'll A/B with what's out there and see what I like best.

You dont understand the word flat untill you try acustica.Changes your perspective on ITB production upside down.
    I was blind,now i can see.

    @Placeholder
You have to go to the dashboard on acustica site and input the pink .att file and then wait a minute or two and you can download the serial file.Put it in the same vst folder as acustica plugin and it will identify it when you load the plugin.
Without the serial file the parameters are locked.

Yeah, I've been using Nebula for over 5 years now, so I understand exactly what you are saying. Nebula Pro is still Core 5, Nebula Server is on Core 7 now and Pink is running the new Core 8.
I'm able to run 70 Pink with everything on on my 5820K stable, no spikes in Reaper or Studio One. AA have nailed their compressor tech finally, so Pink is the first Acustica Audio product I can honestly recommend people demo. Let us know what you think and how it runs if you demo it.

So you actually have not used Pink because you have not authorized it yet.... interesting, as your hijacking defense was that you were posting your "own experiences", which we now realize you don't have yet. Hmmmmmmm.

So yeah, logically you were hijacking a Pink thread as you have zero actual experience using it, lol.

    Classic!

It is, indeed better than the other attempts. For some reason the Acustica tech has some rough edges in the release section. Pink is better, but IMO it still needs a bit of work. It handles better percussive stuff than voices.

Looking forward to the updates of the other comps. I hope they will sort things out in the end.

Oh, thanks! I didn't realize that :). It's a bit weird because audio DOES go through anyway. Everything works, except for the EQ, so it kind of tricked me, haha XD.

Hooooly crap man, are you trying to be the hero for there products or something? XD.

When I said "own experiences", I was talking about my experiences with there products. That's what I said. "Mehh, I tried some Acoustica Audio stuff and I can't see what the fuss is.". I didn't edit it or anything XD.

I mean, christ, I suddenly remember why I stopped posting on forums like this. The word "hijack" gets thrown around a lot too much xD.

ANYWAY, thanks Von_Steyr. The real fun is gonna come from A/Bing it with other stuff that's out there. It's really an awesome time for channel strips. I wonder what everyone is gonna pick as there faves.

Wouldn't call anything I said on this thread as a review. Just a few minute impression from the demo, haha.

I love Pink on drums, takes me just seconds to get drums right where I want them.
My favorite drum settings are Insane and Pink on, fdbk and hard knee on.
I personally agree about vocals, but I've never liked API compressors on vocals, just to grabby for me, I do prefer tube or opto compressors on vocals.
Some other users are liking Pink on vocals with the soft knee but I've yet to get a better vocal sound with Pink over Tim P's Sum100 or LA3a, but to each their own.

You just joined Audi Sex yesterday and only have 6 posts, all in a new Pink thread. You have been busted posting in a Pink thread without experience, someone calls you out on it, because it looks really suspicious for a new member to be diverting the topic to another companies product, and you decide to get a little aggressive and emotional.... ok, that's one way to go.

A bit of advise, Logic always wins in print, and never judge others on the net.

FWIW, Nothing in Pink works until you authorize it, it only passes audio in bypass mode.

You should take your own advise next time:

The best part about acoustica plugins is,that when you put a channel strip or just an eq on a few buses or just the mixbus, you can so quickly tailor the sound and the harsh mids and highs, gone and you havent applied any mastering tools yet.
You can also bring out the bottom end to sound mean and serious,in your face yet soft and still in control, hard to describe, brings out the best elements and sorf of hides the weak spots of your material.
One of the biggest problems for me was taming the digital harshness, with this is easy as pie.
I could go on and on about how radical these plugins are, just about every aspect of your production will shine so much more.
Yes you do have to have some mixing skills but even the beginners will definitely notice the big change, especially if you work with real instruments, drums, synths, vocals, orchestra.
Synths like op-x pro II will have added dimension and space, depth.
Reverbs will sound more real and have more depth, the whole spectre of sound is altered dramatically.
