@Oysters, that was music2000 on playstation, no?.. Its how I started as well. Made some pretty crazy stuff with it. (from pure soundscapes to industrial, breakcore, digital hardcore etc)
Got to know pretty much inside out. Even knew at some point exactly what I had to do to make it crash and produce some out of this world sounds..which I then recorded with my mini disk. It surely had its limitations but also a lot of potential.

I was too ugly to start a band, so I made the band myself in 2004

This is a fantastic thred!!! Impressive. Please can I hear that:)> Wow that's hilarious!!!! What a sense of humor you have!

I started producing by mistake. Being a DJ for some years I accidentally googled the wrong word when looking for a Britney aCapella. Kontakt came up in the search results and the rest is history:).

Fortunately I was an established Jazz pianist by then and had quite a bit of performance experience as a kid, so the transition was a fun one.

    Again, great thred aymat!

Wow where do I start from Junior High School to high school I was always a music lover in high school i was a break dancer then after high school I got my first job in a restaurant that had a club there at night time that's why I became interested in being a DJ then I got some DJ equipment and I started but to be a DJ work my way up working a lot of parties and even some clubs in the 1990's one day I just got tired of playing everybody else is music and I said to myself I can do that I have my own ideas so I went through 4 PCs and none of them worked for producing music at that time they all were garbage then I bought my first Macintosh I never look back

music 2000 was the sequel. It built on the original so well. I think music 2000 may be my favourite bit of software ever.

    Edit: I loved minidiscs!!

Yes people these days have no idea how good they have it. My old Roland CDX-1 didn't even have a hard drive. It burned everything in REAL TIME to special "High Speed CD-R's" lol. When I got the Yamaha AW16G, I was blown away by the simple fact that it had a 20GB hard drive haha! At the time, my pc only had a 4GB drive and tracking 8 channels at once was unimaginable.
