Truly sad, His last album sounded like it was made 10 years in the future. We lost a musical magician.

:snuffy: The greedy damned copyright holders now want to make more PROFITS since
the death of Prince has been brought to attention worldwide! Lousy bastards.
Try to search "Raspberry Beret - Prince" on youtube, you'll find soundless videos.
Why the hell do these idiots remove it? Why? Because of Profit!

He truly was a King and not a Prince. Can't even begin to count the times he inspired me to play my guitar! I miss him already. :(

    Rest in Peace my Brother!

This sad and shocking news came at me like a bolt of lightening. Prince's sudden passing has really made me think about the uncertainty of our time on this planet. If you think about the passings of some of the great musicians that have left us in this century alone, it's beyond mind-numbing! Prince was truly an icon, trend-setter, and a musician's musician. His kind only makes rare appearances on this earth over many generations. I'm afraid there will never be another like him (at least not in my lifetime).

    R.I.P. my music brother!

    About PRINCE @ Wikipedia:

    Copyright issues
On September 14, 2007, Prince announced that he was going to sue YouTube and eBay because they "are clearly able [to] filter porn and pedophile material but appear to choose not to filter out the unauthorized music and film content which is core to their business success." Prince hired the international Internet policing company Web Sheriff, and they told Reuters: "The problem is that one can reduce it to zero and then the next day there will be 100 or 500 or whatever. This carries on ad nauseam at Prince's expense.

You can't even upload his videos somewhere you would like, the copyright-Mafia is everywhere! :snuffy:
Sorry...but some so-called Stars get too much greedy too sometimes.

A majority of music artists, during their interviews, are always asked "who is your favorite artist or your biggest influence"..... the answer almost always was PRINCE. Hell, even Eric Clapton once said he was his favorite artist; a man/legend whom i figured Prince may have been influenced by (to some degree), at some point in his life!
    R.I.P. PRINCE

There are times to keep banging on your tired old drum about copyright and then there's time when you should just say something nice or STFU.

Some reports speak now about a DRUGS OVERDOSE:
    http://wgntv.com/2016/04/21/tmz-prince-treated-for-drug-overdose-after-emergency-landing/
    http://variety.com/2016/music/news/prince-drug-overdose-911-call-dead-1201758740/

"Just days before his death, Prince was treated for a drug overdose after he made an emergency landing in Illinois, TMZ is reporting, citing multiple sources. Despite his publicist saying that the legendary musician was battling a lingering case of the flu, sources in Moline, where he was treated, say doctors gave Prince a shot of a powerful drug designed to counteract opiates called a “save shot.”

Ive read reports about His finally words which reportedly were "please wait 3 days before you waist your prayers on me"
Have also read reposts that he died of HIV which he contracted in the 90's but was able to keep secret. makes since if he died battling The Flu. No immune system the flu can kill you. wait and see i guess , but how he died really isn't important, its the fact he's gone that sucks :/

It probably isn't a drug overdose. He was sick with the flu and maybe had pneumonia.
Paisley Park is a pretty awesome place to be in. I took a tour through my audio school over 20 years ago and was blown away by the no expense spared studio A. Studio B was cool too. Many hits by many top artists have been there over the years. I even knew one of the keyboard techs for NPG.

Prince has left quite a legacy with his studio and several hundred unreleased songs. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of him yet.

P.S. All night free Prince dance party at First Avenue if anyone is interested.

I have so many happy memories connected to "When Doves Cry". When I hear any of his songs, they each open up a time capsule of beautiful memories in my life. Thank you & RIP
