Hey guys,

Can anyone clarify for me if there is indeed no way to load unregistered/cracked Kontakt Libraries into a legitimate version of Kontakt 5?

I've been thinking of going legit and buying Komplete 10 but I'm just not interested in losing Alicia's Keys + numerous other third party libraries that I use for trying to do the right thing...

I've read through the Stickied thread regarding Kontakt 5 Cracked vs Legitimate and it seems that you can't, but I believe that was made in 2015. Has anyone progress been made doing this? Is the only option still to simultaneously install a legit and a cracked Kontakt 5 on the one computer?

Legit kontakt only opens legit libraries, yes. You can buy it, but you still have to use the cracked one to use any nonlegit libraries.

Buying will only make you "feel morally better"

 

You can use any Kontakt library but you have to have Kontakt version 5.3 or newer. All you need to do is download the update. I think I have 5.5.

Also, for third party libraries, they will only open if you use the file function. Only official libraries will open on the library tab.

Ok - Is that right then - Because I was thinking something was wrong with the way I was installing 3rd party libraries - I'm a bit OCD when it comes to being organised and I hate the fact that some libraries do not show up on the left in the browser - But you say that is normal right ?

Is that something that can be fixed ?

 

I'm not an expert but as far as I know that is a result of the way Native Instruments structure their Kontakt Libraries and licensing. If companys pay a licensing fee and agree to some sort of royalty system then they are officially supported and able to be loaded into the Library section of Kontakt 5. If not, then you have to use the Quick load File Browser.

 

So using something like this will not help ?

Abyss is good, it will create Ninct and you can make a wallpaper so the library will show
but Legit Kontakt will not play non legit libraries
only Cracked will play

no its only 7 us dollars though, but it is so easyyyyyyy and so good, worth it!
