INSTALLATION on MAC:
– Go to Library > Application Support > Nomad Factory
– Select BusDriver > Plug-In > BusDriver.bundle
– Mouse click “Show Package Contents”
– Contents > Resources
– Replace old Resources folder with my new one
– Done

Thanks mate!
It took me some hours of work...mostly removing their logo on the VU-display
and changing its aggressive background color. I think it looks better now, that
green color before hurt my eyes so much.

but still, you managed to totally screw up the lighting effect in it ?

Does anyone know if it's possible to use this on Windows?
I was hoping to be able to replace the images of the BusDriver.dll using ResourceHacker, but RH doesn't show any picture files, so nothing to replace there

 

Yes, should be possible. Remember to rename my files (the png's) as they are required for WIN!
I've found the *BusDriver.dll* inside the folder drive_c > Program Files > Common Files > Nomad Factory > BusDriver
Don't take the one under "VstPlugIns". Nomad Factory's new installers install a main file
(called Bundle on Mac) which connects itself with all Plug-In formats.

You're right, the BusDriver.dll in the Common Files-folder shows the Image Resources



Slight difference is that the file "VINTAGE_SWITCH_H.PNG" is not showing up here.
And your package contains some files which I don't see here and in your MAC-screenshot ("PowerButton".png "Arrow up & down".png), I'm not sure what to do with those files.

Anyway, it's already late here. I'll give it a shot tomorrow, danke Kookaboo!

 

The facts are these: I took the content from the new version 1.03,
maybe they added new elements in the GUI? Or some are used by VST or other formats?
All elements however work fine embedded in version 1.02. You just need the PNG files for your Windows machine!
In other words, just install a DEMO first then look what has been installed and check what to rename/replace.

According to the changelog they did tweak the GUI a bit in 1.0.3. I still wonder, why it crashes Logic after replacing the resource Folder. I did everything as instructed - twice. In Maschine the Plugin GUI can't be accessed. Had to go back to stock skin for now. I've got the Legit version, btw.

Well, I'm more an Artist than a Graphic Designer. Experienced people should notice it.
I put more effort in the Art I'm doing, Design comes in second place.
In first line i do these skin remakes just for me. Because often i don't like their original design.
Then i think: why not share them with others? Nobody has to like them, that's obvious.
