How to make this kind of metallic sound

    I was wandering if any of you knew how to make this metallic sound!
    I cant do it! :dunno:

    Something like a comb filter eqing out some of the highs. perhaps.

    Bandpass sweep a supersaw and then distort it? If you want metallic sound try messing with FM and/or comb filters (on any sound).

    It's hard to tell from the short sample.

    the FM have those kind of sounds? I have hear same sound on many productions actually and have always wander how to get it.

    I already answered this question.

    Why not try messing with/learning FM for yourself? Study and learn about harmonics and overtones. What makes a sound "metallic"?
    If you want real metallic sounds you could record metallic material with a portable recorder (mics) and layer it with your synths. :)

    Ok I will do that. The think is lately I have no much time cause Im working in to many projects at the same time thats why when Im stuck I come here and ask :)
