how to make this specific snare

    starts at 1:02

    i think its pretty simple to do but somehow i just dont get it. i get some similiar results but honestly it just sounds crappy :D

    happy for some inputs :)

    The regular ghost notes inbetween the cross stick (rim click)? Or the snare delay at 1:01? Flam'd snare+clap?
    Not sure exactly what you mean.

    Layer a cross stick snare (AKA rim click) hit with a clap sample (claps, like 2-4 claps).
    If the clap needs to be more "vocal" or middy, try dual peak (narrow) boosting the mids or formant filter it a bit.
