I installed the last version of wave central , it works fine.

 

im gonna wait until the 14th , my DAW is offline anyway so unless they time bombed the app ill be good until I have to update

those of you that updated did you have to reinstall the plug ins & the added procedure? or just install the update?

 

I don't think it will EVER be the 14th on MY computer.

 

No, I didn't update the app. I fresh installed waves central on a spare laptop(that has never installed waves center before), and use portable install ver. of reaper 5.xx to run the plugins.

I'm not clear on whether we need to bother with this or not if we have the last patched ver working on mac. Should i just run this update and nothing will be effected on the plugs or should I just leave it alone? In other words the patched stuff we have, will it continue to work even though the Waves Central won't later this month?

 

yeah, I haven't updated since the new waves central approach a few months ago, would it be a good idea to grab the download now from waves? or should i stand put at the last r2r release pre-waves central ?

 

Just as a heads up, I downloaded the more recent version with the new X-FDBK plugin and all is working just fine.

I downloaded the app, replaced the old version, uninstalled all of the plugins and reinstalled the following:
Mercury
Abbey Road
SSL
NX

Everything installed just fine, ran the patch (latest march release) and everything shows up in Logic, Ableton and Pro Tools.

Yosemite 10.10.5
(Legit) Pro Tools 12.4

Same thing here as well. I installed the new Waves Central on a fresh install of Windows that never had Waves installed on it, and it opened just fine, but on my main recording pc it opens...to a blank screen, lol.
Looks pretty funky.
