Music textures - Homophony dominates others

I just like musical talks and also expect people to share their views about the concepts.

As you know, here most people do not talk about the music principles themselves. Just suggesting what to hear, what is good, what is bad.

We can look at sexual intercourse from various perspectives:
    1- love
    2- instinct
    3- educating from society
4- the nature's mechanism for saving our generation
    5- medical
    6- philosophical
    .
    .
    .
The same view for the music is true. There is no simplicity about the music. The problem is that we don't want to think more.

@Impressive please read the first post. Today, this technique is almost in vogue among most musicians and producers:

A simple harmonic texture + melody over it

The composers usually try to draw the audiences' attention to the melody of the song and the harmonic textures play the role of the spectrum fillers. The harmony by itself does not have any dominant role in the track and is for not letting the frequency spectrum be left emptied. You can create simple or complicated music with this approach.

My intention is defining distinct roles for the harmony other than simple fillers.:dunno:

Popular music and money-reeling music are 2 different things. Now I wasn't alive this long (I'm only in my 20's) but 40 years ago you could make a well orchestrated song and it could become something if you wanted to. People made music for fun. There was room for new material and you didn't need to look or dress a certain way that impresses teenage girls in order to have a hit. Do you think OneDirection was recruited because of talent? No. They make 11 year old girls blush because of their appearances. I know cases where the ugliest people have incredible musical talents. They could even emulate something like the trash you hear today, it wouldn't be a cover, and they still can only do it as a hobby.
The masses are also oblivious to some of the most iconic music nowadays. I wore a pink floyd shirt to work the other day. It was for the cover of the dark side of the moon. One person asked me "Why does your shirt say "Pink Floyd" when there is literally no pink on it?" I told them it was just the name of the band. They said "Oh wow cool! What kind of music do they play?" I shook my head and walked away because I was gonna shit on the person's life if I didn't cease and desist the conversation immediately. And I don't like shitting on people's lives. I'd rather have a respectful conversation or just stay to myself. One year in college (Fall 2011), I was in a class of 34 people. Everyone was very focused in this class. One day the professor made a Beatles reference and asked "Show of hands who knows who the Beatles are?" Only me and a couple other people raised our hands. She then confirmed if they were being sarcastic or not. It soon because obvious I was in a room with 30 people who didn't know who the Beatles were. Pretty sad considering they changed music forever and no one could ever know where we'd be without the British invasion. I didn't shit on my generation for this. Mainly because the professor did it after almost having a heart attack. She left the room and we got to go home and hour and a half early. She gave us homework - find out who the Beatles were. Those of us who knew already didn't have homework. Unfortunately only 15 out of the 30 people came back with something.
The modern music industry is only a way of making money, not speaking with others thru music. If you write a good brit rock song, it's not gonna outsell Lady Gaga or Katy Perry or Taylor Swift. In fact, 80% of the youth are gonna say "Gee this sucks!"
It's not about talent. It's not even about music. It's all about money. Those artists you hear making those pop songs, they make that genre with one motive in mind: Money. You think they like making that music? You think they like singing about that shit? I mean, sure some of them do. But 70% of them would rather write something different. Unfortunately, if they do that, they'd probably lose their music career.
Me, I'm not driven by money. I'm driven by using music to keep up with my emotions. I make music to bring color to my soul in a black and white world. I makes me feel again. I can sit back and listen to a song and say "I did that shit!" My motive is the feels that the melodies give me. I make what comes to mind. 85% of my songs write themselves through random improvisations on the guitar or keyboard... where I just f**k around with different notes, harmonies, and chords within a designated scale. I usually start out with Bb Major or G minor, then I transpose the song to different keys to see which one I like best. Sometimes I'll use the original take in Bb Major, other times I'll use, say, the Eb Major take.
In short, popular music is a very general subject. I don't understand the term "popular music" because every genre has at least a million people that listen to it. Especially with things like Spotify where you have unlimited access to billions of songs all in an app on your phone. And well, people use music for different purposes. But while I have 100 different expectations when I create music, becoming an overnight sensation is number 110. I don't care if it makes the Billboard top 100 songs of 2017. I care if it makes me feel good.

Behold, the first 2 songs to seal their spot in my 18th studio album. It makes me feel good. I feel motivated. I felt a lot of good things when I made them. However, I didn't picture myself on the cover of a magazine saying "Everlasting Friday - On his breakout songs Leave This World Behind and Come Away." LOL. Yeah that would be the day. Now, would I love to make a few million dollars from them? I mean sure, absolutely! But I know they don't have the greatest potential.

There is music that elevates and there is music for elevators.
I receive filthy looks whenever I dance in elevators.

You really deserve a pat on the back for all your hard works but I just wanted to say your music are a bit cushy and bubblegum with similar patterns. I expect something fiendishly incomprehensible from you with very serious melodic structures, something that no one can hum them.

Popular shit electronic music is monophonic. they're single bass lines.

Last question and Arnold Schoenberg is not related to this topic at all! Human is free in his music. you can create whichever music that describes your feelings and your mind. If you cant make a connection with his music it doesn't mean that other people doesn't enjoy that

Although a little bit simplistic (especially regarding it's rhythmical dimension), I found this one quite enjoyable... (No irony).
