Just proves that anything is possible in the days of digital production.
Money and location are not as important as they used to be,today you can do it all if you take the time,if you have the patience and the talent to learn and produce.
Tesla Boy a really small band from Russia with top notch song writing skills and sounds, imho so much better than the current soulless, plastic McMusic production.
These guys are masters of their craft, thats how you write songs.

I thought that myth had been disproved long ago. Nothing about the location denotes someones musical writing skill. Music isnt to my taste, but sounds well produced/adheres nicely to the genre of synth-pop.

2 min loop on soundcloud you know...

    looool.

The you built up the band I thought they were going to be amazing. But its nothing I haven't already heard from a bunch of other 80s revival bands.

You know its just an opinion right?

It sounds a little bit raw, but if I was a producer I would take care of that, and them. Sounds promising.

I agree, it sound better than many contemporary music around, but it lacks originality, and it sounds very, very outdated.

I enjoyed listening the 2 songs, but no "replay button factor" here.

    Good luck !

Tesla Boy is nice, true. My favorite is "Spirit of the Night" :)
If you like it, you can probably like our music too - it's also 80s oriented. We are releasing full album on 5th of May! After 1,5 year of hard work.

I like Tesla Boy very much.
The influence are obvious and the teaching of the 80s was well learned.
Obviously it has already been done many times but who said you have to create something totally new?

really nice sounds, nice trip back to 80's style, I'm all about it... agree the track could use a little polishing
but it's good enough... like the sweet synth sounds, and catchy rhythm...
guy does a good job singing in English without sounding Russian.. which is a feat in itself..

    gimme some more..

Your taste needs a serious work.

Judging on the others' jobs with this taste?:suicide:

What does this have to do with anything,i have bands from jazz, prog rock, disco, metal to classical and scores in my library.
Foster you might not like it which is cool, but these songs are well structured something you clearly lack.
Learning scales and theory may help you,but if you think you can just skip years of learning and personal evolution
in music production then you are wrong, everybody has to go trough it.
You need to learn to listen and implement and if that is too hard then maybe you chose the wrong hobby.
May sound too harsh but thats the reality.

    I think it's better :
Guitar lovers judge just on the guitar related works and electronic ones on the electronic stuffs.

Doesnt matter which genre, its about structure, successful bands and artists are usually successful because they know how to write songs, they know the formula and it doesnt matter if its Abba,Metallica,Depeche Mode or Prodigy, they know their shit.
    This is the simplified explanation.
Successful producers can operate in different genres as well.

Genre is the most important factor having the biggest effect on the producer's thoughts.

Mastering in either of them needs years and years. Structures probably seem similar like the analog and digital electronics but the tools, skills, analyzers, ... are so different. I didn't say anything new.
