Mix - Is it ok ? (specially the kick)

Arrangement - does it make you feel something ?

 

kick is not in tune with the bass ( different note) can you hear it ? if not, nevermind. otherwise, sounds great

 

Thanks for your input korte , in fact it is not tuned to the key of the track as you said, but I thought that it gives to the track another feeling, I dont know, anyway, I think that is good that you realize that, it was on purpose

 

Mariano, kick must be in tune, the kick low end messes the mix. Autopaned maracas in min 3.45 should be turned down a few dBs and hats need space in the mix, lil bit more reverb and a gentle ping pong delay, I like the song tho.

 

It's a cool track, I really like it, very dark and brooding. My only criticism, and it's more to do with my own tastes than anything to do with the production itself, I don't like the little 'rise' at around 4 minutes, it doesn't fit in with the rest of the track's atmosphere to my ears.

 

Kick has way too much boom for Techno, sounds like a Trap or rap kick. It was actually starting to hurt my ears. Call me old shool but 909s for Techno.

ok, I will try to put little less low end on the kick and play with stereo image.
Teknomage, I thought that too but sometimes I like to try new sounds

 

Mariano, you seem to understand techno mix needs some polish, for example I find this main bass sound too loud but it seems like a good song once properly mixed

Please don't consider this as demoralization.

Some genres are seducing. I mean they deal more with mixing and playing with sounds but enormously lack musical concepts. I was a listener of those genres but after digging into the music theory and also listening to other genres, understood that I don't know much about the music. So broaden your musical listening at least in the electronic genres.

If you have selected that genre knowingly, just continue but if not, please take a look at below genres and read the electronic section.

Seems talking about the essence of genres is not sweet for most people at all.

Before setting foot in any path, it's better to know the other ways too to be able to modulate.

You're quite right> Techno being one of them! That's why the title says Techno!
Anyway, shouldn't you be working on those progressions in your unfinished track?

Nice, man! Rolling techno. I would definitely say turn the main bass down, it is too loud. Tune the kick/find/make a nice-r kick sample.
