Hey guys
With free uploaded stuff on safari ive noticed that it downloads a much smaller file named the same as whatever I was originally intending to download. its a dmg and an installer for something else. seems to be fine on chrome just happening to me on safari anyone else?

ps. I searched but couldn't really find anything other than uploaded and banners
if you find another thread that involves this issue please do not take it as a personal attack from me to you. its just you are far more skilled than i am when it comes to searching please forgive me.

 

No problems here with Uploaded using Safari 8.0.8 (Current Yosemite version) or 9.0.0 (Current El Capitan version)

Sounds like a system specific to your Mac issue

Maybe you have some malware installed..

What is the exact name of the installer file?

Anyhow,

Use the free app Etracheck (Google it) to do a full check of your system

and also;

Get the new version of Adware Medic (Now known as Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and still free) to remove any such malware routines installed.

yep its also a browser high jacker program,don't open it , don't know why UL allows this advertisement crap, But it only happens for free users and not premiums, its probably a way to make you buy account with em, every time i try download something from them i also get the same crap then turn to rapidgator or something el;se instead....
the file says Downloader_setup_mac.dmg 1.3mb

i have the same thing, reloading the page fixes it for me

 

it's malware & if you open it, it will install various files within your system that are very hard to remove so best advice is to use a premium link generator or use a different host.

 

As soon as you type in the first letter for your captcha,
You will see a checkmark appear for downloading their downloadmanager,
uncheck it and you should get the required file...
