You can search on that on the sister site, in the tutorials section. So a duck search would look like this: SITE:https://thesister.site/tutorials/ TRANCE

But, a short while ago, there was a topic about the future (or death) of EDM. I would be happy with the latter, but my point is: if you follow such rigid instructions, all music will definitely sound the same. Try to be original!

Michaelbrac, my advice to you is to listen man. Listen with all your might. Listen to your favorite tracks in all the genres you’d like to produce in. Listen to the structure, the melody, the key, the chords, the drum patterns, the synth patterns, the basslines…. Listen, imitate then create. Once you’ve gotten close, add your own vibe by experimentation. Don’t let a rigid tutorial or book tell you what to do, although DMP are unbelievably amazing. Use these mediums as a means to gain the fundamentals.

    Just my 2 cense.

The simple way to do this is find the BPM of a track you like and import it into your DAW, then create some regions for the different sections. Going a step further you could use these regions as a template for a new track.

Michaelbrac. What was your vision for the track?

Analyze your favourite songs in your DAW.
You will be amazed that some producers like Armin Van Buuren did things differently and they sounded normal. But when you try those structure, it will be difficult for you to sound them correct. It is a very good practice to analyze your favorite songs.
