So far, I've been using the kits coming with Logic Pro X, but I'd like something that'd sound better.

It'd be for pop songs, no specific style.

    Thanks!

EZDrummer 2. Easy to use, loads of different kits available.

I've used EZDrummer and have tons of the kits, but I prefer their Superior Drummer plugin and kits. Evil Drums is great (for any style), and any of their kits I've tried are great. (Much better than the EZDrummer line IMO) They come with drag and drop midi loops in multiple styles, but I'm using an Alesis midi drum kit to trigger. If only I were better on drums. And guitar. And singing.

I use Battery 4, EZDrummer 2, Geist, and sometimes Poise. Get some high quality drum sample packs.

To me Poise does a great work, and nice CPU usage. Though, had some problems crashing with Cubase 8.5 but not that often. My next VST to go is: Groove Agent, Battery 4 or Geist.

For acoustic drums I use addictive drums 2, and for synthetic ones Drumatic 4. Sometimes I use kick from sonic academy (and kick 2 beta has some nice additions).

I like the sounds from Adaptive Drums2 more than the easy of use in EZDrummer 2.
2 drummachine/VST that has some great sounds are Nerve from Xferrecords and punch from rob papin.

These days i dont use any of the above, ussualy i get the job done with simple drumracks(s) in abelton.
If i where you i would go hunt down some drumkits for ultrabeat/logic. Or start building your kits in ultrabeat :)

EZ Drummer for putting bits and ideas together at the start, Superior Drummer for fine-tuning and final product. I've tried BFD3 and also love it, but damn it's system-hungry! I really can't get into Addictive Drums but maybe because of the music I do. Someone here that does pop may recommend it. Depending on what you try, I'd love to hear about your own findings.
