I'm very much looking forward to comparing it to my Noah's Pro One emulation.

I own 2 of these Sequential Circuits Pro One

They still kill any mono synth i have owned.
It will be interesting to see how they try and achieve the complex modulation routing in the software version, it's been tried before by another company and failed miserably, lets hope UHE have better luck.

What's missing?
Would you try to describe in words? (apart from the feel of real analog hardware of course

 

Character, Expression, Flexibility (the original modulation is 1 of the key things that sets this synth apart from the others) i could be here for hours, but .... like all things in life if your are happy with what you use by all means continue using it.

Would you join an experiment? I'm just too curious how it will work out.
I don't own a real Pro-One, so here's what I kindly ask you to do, if you don't mind:
Would you pick a few of your top-notch favorite sounds on your Pro-One, record them (two or three single notes, 2 octaves apart should be sufficient) and for each sound make a clearly visible photo of the front panel so I could copy the sound in my Noah?
From the blofeld project I know that sometimes the unthinkable is possible.

I'd really appreciate such a little project, if you agree.
That could also be a good reference for comparisons with U-he's new pearl, or even for some fine-tuning on Diva/ACE and other synths.

Agree why some people don't see eye to eye and that.

Opinionated & stubborn maybe. Clever dude who makes top notch products imo.

Makes some pretty top notch stuff and also gives away a lot of real cool free stuff which can only be admired imo.

Personally I love all u-he stuff but can understand why some might not like marketing policies and that.

However each to their own and that
