Something new from the vault...

Something of which, for 3-4 years now, I had stored away in my unreleased music vault of roughly 1,300 songs I wrote (some finished, some unfinished). No need for harsh criticism. I'm just spreading the word of my music because this track was an accomplishment in my eyes, and I'm proud of it. Some will say it's overly repetitive, I do know this. Also, Soundcloud will cut out my bass and other qualities here and there depending on your sound card. So if the quality's crap, it's your sound card, not mine.
**Please be nice with the comments. I don't need threats telling me to go kill myself or some shit. :mates:

    Hope you enjoy it.

Dude don't kill your self over this sounds really good to me. Repetitive not that bad. Repetitive is when you hear crap that is crammed down your ears to make you like it. Your song has a nice vibe to it. I would like to add some guitars to it if you like.

Thank you. That means a lot to me. And well, I play guitar myself, so I have no problem adding them myself. If you hear one of the previous tracks on my channel (titled "Counting The Days"), you'd hear that I play drums, guitar, bass, keyboards, and more. If you listen to the most liked song on my channel - "The Illuminati" (with a whopping 6 likes! *sarcasm intended* LOL), you'd hear I can do a mean lead guitar.

And sorry to "come out of the closet" and expose myself as a "villain", but 98% of the keyboards/drums/basses in this track were made with Nexus2 and the rising Lowpass filters were with Vengeance's VPS Glitchbitch. Lesson from this statement? You can construct a good tune with anything - expensive, inexpensive, outdated, or up to date, it doesn't matter. What matters is what you can do with it, and your sense of creativity and musical craftsmanship. With all the crap we got on AZ, any sound or tune is fully possible. It's all in the mind!! :guru: Given that Nexus2 isn't fully capable of doing that much (according to many), imagine what you could do with Spire, Serum, Zebra2, Massive, Absynth, or even Sylenth1, to name a small few.

Ok Where is your tracks where you play a mean guitar I would like to hear them. I can tell there was not really much live playing on this one no offense. It still sounds good. I can play a pretty mean guitar my self. I have the feel the same stuff so much junk out there period. I get the same stuff on sound cloud also. 6 like and they hit some junk tune with 4k likes. Totally blows me away also.

Your welcome on the compliment good music is good music to me. That is why I listen to Music to relax and enjoy.

I found it. Sorry it was on sound cloud. No offense your rhythm playing is good. but I do not hear a mean guitar lead.

Probably deleted already. Not a mean lead guitar, but compared to what you hear on the radio, it's pretty damn good. Also, this particular track (the one in my original post), has no live guitar. It's a synthesized guitar. Reason being was that I made this track while on lunch break at school on my Macbook Pro. No offense taken, because you're right. It's not a guitar. I've stopped posting my actual rock stuff on Soundcloud because nobody really cares. Like you said, some crappy EDM trap crap music will get 4,000 likes and something like this will be reluctant to get 0,002 likes (notice my messing around with digits there LOL). Sad part is, if you look at the comments on this track, you'd see me telling some Chinese/North Korean spambot, for some "Get 10,000 soundcloud followers for $609" service, where to go. I get at least 10 of these on my tracks, and they suddenly disappear because I'm the one who reports them all. The get booted by me. So the reason why many folks have so many likes for a crappy tune, is because of bots. Half of those likes, probably aren't real. I've taken most of my live played tracks off because of unpopularity. That's what the music industry has come to. No one cares about your talent. It's all about who you know, and what you can do for THEM. In the end, if they are people and not bots, they don't care about you. It's all a big big club where the rock n roller seems to always lose to the talentless rapper/pop star. Another member on here has a profile pic that sums up why: "Only 13 year old girls buy music." and it has a pic of an elephant's ass in the background. Sums it up pretty damn good. I'll be sure to put something up later in the week if I remember. I got church tomorrow (Easter Sunday for us Christians in USA). But in case you thought this track is midi, yes it is. Because there was no guitar anywhere. I got lazy and didn't redo the guitars, because I liked what I heard as it was, and it's not like it matters in society today. Ha ha ha.

I was referring to this one, midi-man.
This one has a nice guitar tune to it. May not sound that good, many folks can do better. I certainly can. But ask a LA pop diva to do that for you. What's she gonna do? Eat taco bell so she can drop a "Rhythm GuiShart" with her enormous 280 nonillion light century wide ass? Yeah no thanks. I'll stick to this version. Hahaha.

I like except for that guitar at 2:40 (it sounds weird). Mix wise, the track needs a bit more up and down movement; accentuate some parts by riding the volume. There's seriously a lot of energy here, but the nearly linear/flat volume just holds it back. Dynamic range.

Anyway, overall, impressive @Impressive. I'm on my 5th listen. It reminds me of Chvrches and Owl City.

That's because it's not a real guitar, mate. LOL. And yeah, I agree. It does sound very weird.

Yeah, Owl City was always one of my main inspirations since 2007 (before the hit single "Fireflies". Many people tell me I sound like him, and while I don't necessarily aim for that, OC's earlier stuff is music I will hold very close to my heart until the day I die.
Everything he made before 2012 is good. But "The Midsummer Station" & "Ultraviolet" are 2 pieces of music that continually irk me to death. Yet still better than anything else in the mainstream.

i've listened to several of your songs over the past year or so. i don't have time to listen to all 1300, but so far i haven't anything from you that i would not listen to again. i find your music enjoyable. it can be a bit repetitive yes, but i think most popular music uses repetition to some extent. i have no idea how you make your living, but it seems to me that a lot of your music has commercial potential.
