I haven't got Yosemite I'm on 10.9.2 (Mavericks) .. And well Yosemite is removed from the App Store. I would prefer to go to Yosemite to be honest... Need to find a reliable place to download it from.

What're you on, yosemite? Would prefer to go to Yosemite than make the big leap to El Capitan

 

I just installed el capitan 11.3 on my lenovo desktop i7 k450 I don't have a problem yet and I hope not. lol.

Downloaded and installed El Cap. Works fine and everything is still working. Hurray!

 

Well Boujwa... for starters there's an expiration date on Yosemite, when all updates end and the free upgrade to El Capitan ends too.
I also do not upgrade to a new operating system when first released. There's way too many things that have not been addressed with regard to the third party plugins and software we use in music. Hell... for months after the fact, a new operating system (doesn't matter if it's Microsoft/Windows or Apple/Mac) is still updating and trying to clean up their own plugins that spilled software sauce all over the motherboard!
It's been 6 months now and I'm feeling that the OS X 10.11 (10.11.4 now) "El Capitan" should have been stabilized by now... wouldn't you think? It seems from reading on this thread that some people are having no issues at all with El Capitan. How about you users of Kracked software... are you having any problems?
The way I see it, if they're having smooth sailing... then I certainly should too... I keep a clean, tidy and organized computer.

No issues with 10.11.4 here. Latest Logic validates all my plugins except a few old soundtoys 32 bit but i use 64 bit only anyway, no bridge etc. Never change a running system is correct but when you backup your system drive/s (with carbon copy cloner, super duper etc.) there is no risk with updating.

 

The problem on fact is that Last version of Logic works with El Capitan and not Maverick...so what to do
I have a full Back up of my system on Lacie 2Big, if I have to much plugs lost could I´m able to downgrade ?

 

Did anyone update to el capitan 10.11.6? does it work with the modified libstdc++.6.0.9.dylib?

 

Very good question. I would like to know also. I'm still on 10.11.3. Last I tried to update past that, my plugs with the openssh modified dylib stopped working, so I reverted back. Anyone?
