'Problem with shortcut' the drive or network connect is not available.. anyone had this issue? tried reinstall

 

Not experienced that myself as of yet.
What about delete database as will be rebuilt & also the preferences in Massive.
Restart & see if you are able to name the drive/network you are looking for.
Hope u manage to get it sorted

Got it fixed.. Went to options and noticed my browser preset path was from 1-2 years ago.. Updated the new preset path and voila working perfectly! I could of used my external but for my preset folders I use my Samsung SSD Main HD because I like the added speed for sound design and scrolling through presets.. All my samples I have on a USB 3.0.. Hope this helps someone! Thanks again Lean

 

Nice one glad it working

Have noticed a few bugs in Massive myself. Folder structure can be a bit "tetchy" at times and leads to a few problems here & there.
Think the main problems speed/transfer wise occur with huge library sizes & scrolling through them & initial loading time like you say rather than say sample transfer rates etc in Kontakt.
I only have a few select Massive libraries that I use but it such a cool synth. So much you can do with it and still cool in this modern day.
I hope NI consider giving it an overhaul to include certain things in the near future maybe.
People been wanting individual panning of oscillators for years now and now that many people have quad core machines the fact that it processes voices in groups of four would not pose a problem in that case.
Whatever they decide to do it still a marvelous bit of kit with endless possibilities.
Is like all synths I guess they have their strong points and limitations etc but in the case of massive in my own opinion they good points far out weigh the few small things that could be done in a different way I guess.

Is for sure a great bit of kit and glad you got it sorted.

The various drive options and configurations that are available these days makes it interesting for sure .
