Hi !

I downloaded Guitar Rig because I wanted to try the Vintage Compressors included.

...But they don't work x) lol

I can't load them, there's only the names in the list but I can't do anything...

I own the original Guitar Rig, so maybe that is the problem ? What do you think ? Any idea to fix that ? (The Stand Alone application doesn't load neither, only the AU without the comps...)

Assigns Guitar rig 5, Battery , Massive, Stand alones arent Cracked, Dont bother if youre using those, They took from Torrent, and re-posted it uncracked Good Luck

 

These work fine as AU plugs for me (Massive,Guitar Rig 5 & Absynth 5), but the standalones don't launch at all.

The compressors in Guitar Rig 5 work for me as well (but there are no factory presets at all). I am on 10.6.8.

 

I do not understand everything but ok ! lol I don't mind about the stand alones anyway...

And S.LEE > Ok thanks ! I was sure I saw a NI uninstaller somewhere but can't remember where... I will try to delete every folder with Guitar Rig 5 maybe, but I'm not a Mac expert (I switched less than one year ago), if you know an important folder I should delete, tell me ;) (I know the ones in HD/Library/Application Support already)

 

Normally you have files in this directorys :

Aplication/Native Instruments

Librery/Audio/Plugin/

Librery/Audio/Presets

Aplication Suport/Native Instruments

Documents/Native Instruments

Utilisater/Partages

Working well on win 7 with Reaper, No problems.

 

Strange the standalones and AU work but i cant save presets , the vintage stuff is there but only in demo mode, must of took a wrong turning somewhee?

 

Hi, forget those new NI-releases brought to us by ASSiGN.
Even if they have some good crackers in their team, they're not used
to it to crack software for MAC. It's so obvious! Though i appreciate their efforts.

Native Instruments has made big mistakes with changing their presets formats.
Plus they don't support older Macs anymore.

 

Here is the fix guys you won't have the new presets but at least you will have the vintage stuff working in your daw.

1. Make sure you have replaced the install with the (K) in the native instruments folder located in your Applications folder and there are no other copies floating around.

2. Make sure you have Little Snitch App enabled to block all Native instruments software ,activate the demo content in standalone.

3. replace the database files in library/Applications support/Native instruments/Guitar rig 5/Databass with the files from SHBAMAC'S tutorial HERE:

1) Go to HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Guitar Rig 5/Demo DB and copy those 3 files.
2) Go to HD/Users/Username/Library/Native Instruments/Guitar Rig 5/Database and overwrite the 3 files there with the ones you copied.

4. Close then reopen guitar rig 5 you should get a message indicating that there are twoe instances open and database preset changes can not be saved.

5. Make up a preset and save.

6. close guitar rig 5 and fire up your daw.

7. instantiate GR5 you should get the same message as aforementioned in step 4 make up a preset with one of the classic comps save then save your project then reopen your daw

8. Hey presto no more demo mode all the vintage stuff is unlocked and save enabled now to figure out how to get the new presets or just forget it and make up your own.
