Friends does anyone know the process to add a midi library Grooves to BFD 3?
I have heard that the files must be converted to read them?
the MIDI Groove does not matter at all:(

The process involves RTFM, as usual.

Unless you're asking a fairly convoluted question, definety RTFM

I just checked and both these work fine.

    "Using drag & drop

Drag & drop the MIDI file(s) onto the destination Palette slot from a system file location such as the desktop or a folder window. When using this method, it is not possible to split the file into smaller Grooves - all controls in the MIDI Import panel are disabled except for the Import MIDI key map setting. Each file is created as an individual Groove in slots ascending from the destination slot.

Using the File menu (with the Groove Browser visible)

BFD3's File menu contains 2 functions for importing MIDI files - these functions display the MIDI Import panel with all functions accessible, allowing you to split files into smaller Grooves:

•The Load Groove(s) from file... function allows you to import files into the current session. "

Can you provide more details about exactly what you are doing and exactly what happens?

As mentioned already, read and understand the manual. Look at the different options and functions to learn
and understand how BFD3 works. It is simple and complex at the same time just like Geist.

Anytime you drop a midi file into the Groove Editor, you are given the option of how to handle it. This assumes
you know the source format to convert from (GM, SD2,EZD2, AD2, etc...).

Single midi files must be saved as a groove and multiple midi files must be saved as a pallette before using.
Once you have imported and saved, you must rescan to update the database. Only then will the files show up
in the list of available grooves and pallettes.

p.s. Detailed instructions would be lengthy and would be better done as an archived tutorial
to be downloaded. May get to it later this year if not sooner. Hopefully you will have figured it out by then. I'm sure detailed instruction would benefit all who are in the dark.

Was getting ready to start the process of creating a tutorial when I noticed that BFD3 v3.1.2.0 will not allow
MIDI import or drag&drop import. Had to fall back to v.3.0.4.6. Don't know if it's a problem with FXpansion or
the 3.1.2.0 R2R release not being unlocked like v3.0.4.6 R2R release.

    Was this your original problem?

The video tuorial that you posted a link to is very straight forward on how to use grooves and pallettes created for BFD.

MIDI files are handled differently. Create or choose a folder where converted MIDI files will be stored.
You must use the import funtion(s) or drag and drop to the groove editor pallette list. You will the be given
the option to choose a MIDI map to use for conversion. Once converted, you will have to name and save
the groove or pallette in the folder you created or chose.

Then as with all new material, BFD must rescan content paths before use.

Hopefully you will figure this all out before I have time to create an indepth MIDI conversion tutorial.
