i just udpate my kontakt 5.3 by Tracer version 5.5.2.880, all my libraries are there, but when i want to add my last new library, she came in kontakt, to load patch: i got this issue: Your new library needs to be added before...

Somebody knows some tips how to add ?

i read many topics here, and it seems this issue is recurring... but didn't find solution...

i'm in W8.1 / 64bit

 

Yeah, I have same problem now with the EWQL libs as Orchestra Gold Xp, Symphonic Choir and Stormdrums...
Before I could use them with kontakt (it needed just the basic install with serial of each lib then it could be loaded in kontakt)
but now I have thie same msg...
I have tried to edit a NICNT file for these libs, but still nothing
Tried with other kontakt versions ( K5 and K4) it doesn't work anymore... which doesn't make sense , coz i thought it was the new kontakt
so I am lost lol ( i realized that problem after a long break)

 

I deleted Trace version and went back to r2r...

 

Yes, i back to R2R version 5.5.0.409, but same problem... :-(

Run Kontakt as the stand-alone version, not as a plugin. Run it as administrator, then add your libraries as you'd normally do. This should work.

I have the same problem with Discovery India on mac too.Problem still persists.Will try RMorgan's suggestion and see if it works

 

i removed Hkey local, and run admin and re-add, but issue still there... it's kafkaïen....!

 

I just found out that it was the SNPID that was giving me trouble.I found a different library with the same SNPID number so I changed the number for that particular lib and in the process I took our godfather of Kontakt Introninja's advice and deleted the .plist in both the HD/Library/Preferences/plist(of both the troublesome libraries only)and I hit Go and pressed Option in the Finder ,went into Library/Preferences/plist(did the same as above)and deleted them and the did the Add library in Kontakt and what do you know.Fixed for me.Hope this can help you guys too.

 

EWQL SO Platinum + XP work ok with latest functional Kontakt 5.5.0 (409) on windows 7 x64.
Also Gold version I believe.
Try to find old East West installer just to register libraries.

 

About Tutti problem...
I have the same situation with Albion 3 library on my Mac (Library added but I was unable to load patches - same error message).
Problem solved by manually editing plist file in Library/Preferences. On windows machine that would be registry key. Also on windows machine you must check following location:

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center

and xml files after adding library into Kontakt

Open sonokinetic tutti.nicnt file with editor (notepad++ or sublime) and you can find two codes HU and JDX.
After adding Tutti into Kontakt, check in service center folder xml file is created.
Also, open registry editor and find in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Native Instruments/ key for Tutti library and check if HU and JDX codes are entered correctly. If there is no codes, then you spy from some other library registry key of how to enter it correctly.

Also, latest version available for Windows 5.5.2 has some problems (but I'm not 100% sure), so I would stuck with 5.5.0.

arggg!!! checked HU & JDX, everything is fine and same in HKEY, NICNT & XML.... and issue still there...
