The toms building up to the drop arent levelled in comparison to the rest of the drums, the riser doesnt have a lot of high end energy. Once the hat comes in on the drop there is enough sheen and pump to carry the sidechain fully. The saw lead on the second drop is quite muddy in the lows and oversaturated without enough breathing room in the highs, and it seems theres very little sidechaining, the kick is completely drowned in that section.

1 - There is no mastering applied, just some gain and a limiter
2 - Lead on 2:22 is so loud and lose in the mix
3 - you need to apply compression my friend, everything is so loud...
4 - There something bad about the bassline, it needs a bit of eq cleanin

good new you're on the right track, just keep doing what you're doing and LEARN how to use compression...

 

Synth/lead at 2:24 is way too loud,no compression in the world can fix bad levels.
Study EQ-ing and Compression to get to the next level.

The mids and highs should be corrected with mastering.Low pass filter and some graph adjustment can quickly fix this.
The kick should also be corrected in the mix,deduct some mids and put on a low pass,perhaps run the kick trough FerricTDS to add some life into it.
Vocals need a bit more EQ work.
Use a bit sidechain with vocals/synth to give vocals more room.
Automate some reverbs to make the song more interesting,modern,alive.
When you mix rather carve out than boost frequencies.(generally speaking,there are always exceptions though)
Its a good song though.
