Synthpop and all its derivatives would never have been the same without Germany first then UK. My country, France has been the WORST place to live if you craved for synths and not guitars...

 

They are good. I wasn't born until the early 90's, but I listened to these guys and other 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's music when I was a kid because the modern pop music never tickled my ears too much, even as a child. In the early 2000's I'd normally just sit in front of my TV and a Destiny's Child video would come on and I'd hit the mute button and fap, being the filthy little 8 year old I was. ;)
One duo from the 80's I also enjoyed was The Pet Shop Boys. "West End Girls" and "Domino Dancing" were always a good jam for me. :D

 

No matter what part of the globe it should be against the law to discuss things which pertain to the history and evolution of Disco without mentioning the Funk Brothers in the early 60's.

Same quality...sometimes Bad Boys Blue sounds exactly the same as Modern Talking...strange.
