Kanye has no need for Serum dude doesn't actually make beats anymore. He has dudes in house that do it all for him i.e. Mike Dean & others. Kanye is like Dr. Dre in the way that they have a vision based off what other producers/beatmakers come up with. Then they craft the song/arrangement and work with the artist.

 

Kanye has admitted to stealing Dr Dre samples off eminem when they were in the studio together, funny guy.

Because everyone else here is in the same position as this man? Us downloading doesn't make us hypocrites whenever we condemn him for doing it, only makes us hypocrites if we would still be doing that while being worth multiple millions of USD. If I'd make the kind of cash he makes I'll be damn sure to buy whatever plug-in I might want to try because it wouldn't even put close to a dent into my earnings.

And please don't start talking about him allegedly being around 53 million USD in debt because it's said he also made more than 70 million USD in the last three years. And nobody here knows what that debt consists out of since I'm sure his personal finances are a lot more complicated than anyone's here due to shell corporations and what not. As long as the guy is driving Rolls Royce and Ferrari cars (or whatever he drives) and walks around in fur coats worth thousands of USD, I think he should be fair enough to just buy his copy of Serum even if it was just for trying purposes.
