couldn't have just made t-racks better (up to date)?
and maybe added anything new to that?

 

No mate: the tagline is "new and unique mastering approach"... and "t-racks" is the "old and confused mixing apporach"

 

not new, and has just left t-racks customers (at least this one) feeling pretty pissed off!
(the t-racks shell is terrible and needs modernising!!!!!! the units are pretty damn good tho)

 

i like the gui,and ik are nice sounding toys

 

Why spend a lot of money to update the older stuff if marketing can sell the new vintage one?

t-racks didn't get a notable update for 10 years now,
They already had lost the master chain battle with Izotope ozone 3 and never done anything about it.

 

to me it's like "T-Racks: Side Project"...they just could make "T-Racks 5" with these new plug-ins and Mastering Console as plugins and standalone...

How much are you gonna buy a name for? Thats the question for this tool. Idk why they dont add the separate tools as part of t-racks like the ones in the above image. Maybe they havent announced it yet but i wouldnt touch this unless you are a huge fan of Gavin's mixdowns.

 

It says iPad Mac and PC but doesn't say what the specifications whats the OS requirements limitations

 

Is cheaper not to revive a dead horse (no offense). Also, if it were another t-racks, users that already bought t-racks would ask for a free update to it, so... new brand, new money

The fuck is up with T-Racks now??? Some of that shit was on par if not better than UAD plugs. hope this comes out in 5

 

One thing I am definitely sure of: a big, "4D" perspective [non existing], hardware like GUI, will *not* help the DSP code sound any better. Nor the paid-for endorsements. Only a great DSP programmer can make it sound better. So we have to wait and hear how it sounds.

Because picture has no sound. Only in people's minds.

New toys for the masses....

 

I've been trying this one and all I can say is that it sucks big time.

You can't actually configure anything by yourself. It's got a bunch of modules but they're all controlled by global presets. You can't actually go and mess around with each module's individual settings, except for the threshold of the de-esser and compressor.

Man, it's got a solid state equalizer that you can't actually go and equalize things by yourself...What a joke.

How the hell it's possible to master something with presets?

This is really just a toy...It's pretty much like like Toontrack's Ezmix.

Works only with presets?? And it still looks complicated... Meh.

All you have to do is load a track, choose a template and you’ll be ready to start mastering.
