What type of voice effects kasbo did it in this song? You can hear it from the beginning.

A lot of chill trap / future bass songs are using these kind of high & low pitched effects. I tried with my ableton, not working

 

Probably some commercial acapellas that been cut sliced and pitched up with a lot of reverb

 

Any particular plugins they use for pitching?

 

sounds like its made the oldskool way.
chopping up the vocal sample and throwing it on mpc/drumrack to make it playable like normal drums.

my taste is there are too much reverb on that track on the pitched/voice hehe thats just me

you can pitch the voice samples in the individuel slices in the drumrack. suit to taste.

 

Try sampling the vowel sounds in your acapella, someone once said when they feel stuck they ask themselves " What would Skrillex do? "

I find it funny now because it makes sense in this song:

 

Just cut it up, edit, move around, etc. Any pitch shifter and formant filter. Native ones works. Also Melodyne, Zplane Elastique, KeroVee, etc

The vocals in the OP has alot of reverb, probably to camouflage the artifacts (from excessive pitching).

Not related to what OP is asking for, just an opinion
I like Kasbo songs. I've been following his music since 2 years ago. Feels good to see how someone makes progress
He once tweeted something about it like this
"instead of my sister yelling TURN DOWN THE FUCKING VOLUME she now yelled IT SOUNDS FUCKING GREAT for the first time"

Kerovee's & Zplane's algos sounds amazing, I find melodyne doesn't work for major pitch/formant shifting, perhaps I'm not using it right?
