Hi everyone,
I've searched the Internet for days to no avail, so I thought I'd try my luck in here.

Trying to load an instrument in Kontakt from a library I've added and I'm met with this message:
'Your new Library needs to be added before this Instrument can be used.
Please go to Kontakt's Libraries tab and press the Add Library button.'

I have a Win 7 PC. I'm running Kontakt 5.5.1.

Can anybody advise me what the problem is?

Any help will be appreciated so much.

Simple, there should be a plus sign or an "Add Library" function on the lower left-hand corner of your K5 GUI if that part of the screen is on the "Libraries" tab. Click on that, and a browser window should open. Go to your Kontakt Documents folder (should be inside of a "Native Instruments" folder) and choose the library folder from that. It will add the library, and a small banner for the library will pop up in your Libraries sub-window. Click on the bar at the bottom of that banner and your various instruments for that library will show up. Now, you can load whatever instrument you need from there.
