    Hi brother!

    It's a step from 3.1 to 3.2 .
Let's see when Steinberg, Avid or Apple is going to add as much for a .1 update. I think this update came with more features than Cubase from 8.1 to 8.5.
If Presonus comes with just as much for each .1 update, imagine how "dense" feature wise v4 is going to be, even 3.5. Hopefully they'll keep this pace... P.S. i don't know why people complain so much about CPU usage, i use S1 for more than 4 years, on my 5 years old CPU (Phenom 1055t stock) and still am able to finish complex projects with no fuss. Probably "workarounds" (like track transform or other stuff) became such a habit that it's part of my muscle memory and anyway, i do it only when it's needed.
Even plugins wise, i extensively use my Acustica EQs and compressors (love the new Emerald though) which most of these plugins i have paid for are CPU hogs and still, didn't make me complain about S1. I think that, for any user, it needs some time to get used to it. But i swear by it, regardless of how much i hate the waveforms aliased view in the GUI, i made it part of my life and i'm able to work blazingly fast with it, even tons of automations and routings. Man... i love this DAW! regardless of the flaws... i hope it gets better though, i agree with most of your opinions about its lacks..
As @Soul1975 , it can only get better.

So, I've spent the whole morning testing the new Console Shaper and I must say it really really sounds absolutely fantastic; Better than all console emulations I've tried so far.

It really makes things softer and more dimensional. Adding a bit of crosstalk also helps to glue things up.

I can't wait for the third party developers to start bring their own creations to it.

If I may chime in and say I am super pleased with this update in particular. So many nice little tweaks and fixes, better multi-touch, and and welcomed additions like the console Shaper etc...

    What a great DAW...

    Kudos PreSonus!!
