I love this DAW! It's exciting hearing about the new updates. Of course, there will be disappointments when we have expectations, but as far as audio software goes it's great to see progress being made instead of stagnating for years.

...and as crazy as it is, I'm starting to get used to the flat black GUI from hell, with the default "theme". I find that it helps a lot when you start colouring your tracks and organizing and setting up everything the way you like it.

Well ... let's say I know my way around Cubase. Its score features are up to par with Samplitude and should you ask me "why not Cubase, it's updated more often and doesn't seem to stagnate" ... hmm, I would not have a convincing answer. Guess, it's also the "analoge"-ish GUI of Samplitude that turns me on :)

VCA faders and some updated work tools. Honestly, I had far more expectations of this BRAKING world news.
But as you probably know...americans are very good in making world theatre out of little....

In keeping with their Louisiana roots, I was kind of hoping they'd throw in some tasty new Cajun recipes.

Not just the Mix FX (Console Shaper), which is great by the way. Was cusious enough to create a new account and download.
Wow! How smooth and fat and you bus with Mix FX applied to the channel(s) into the Master channel which
also has Mix FX applied to the busses.

My biggest gripe of pre-mature clipping (lack of headroom) has been addressed.

Scanned and recognized my VST and VST3 paths perfectly (followed registry entries).

Then there is the new Arrow Tool functions and VCA grouping and automation.

Worth exploring to learn the new and, improved features.

    BTW...The old 3.1 solution works for 3.2

Especially the lack of waveform oversampling. I hate the pixelated way where you see only zig-zag squares when you zoom in a lot. Even Reaper has this...

Colors are not as import as features, function and workflow.

Most if not all can be customized anyway.

Still, the oversampled view which is available in Reaper since V4, why can't they implement it? :(
Honestly.. S1 is my main daw since years... i'd love to see that improvement. I'm tired to zoom into samples and see square-shaped waveform curves. :(

Yeah we would all like to see the improvements ask for going back to version 2. Headroom before clipping was a big one for me
and they finally addressed it with 3.2.

Yeah indeed! i already checked the new features. I love the smart arrow now and the Automation improvements. It's just me or the automation graphics are a bit different? Like slimmer and sharper lines? (not like a bad thing tho)

Still quite a few steps behind cubase, from audio engine, midi and audio tools,etc...
Not bad though, its a pretty good clone of cubase.
