Hey guys,

I was trying to edit some vocals when I noticed that Melodyne automatically tuned some words on its own by just analyzing the audio (subtle, but still noticeable). I could really hear around 25 cents difference between original and analyzed on some words. When I changed the mode from "Edit Mode" to " Note Assignment Mode" this bad "note changing" effect completely disappeard, though.
To be more precise: I'm really not talking about any Air/High End loss (in terms of Frequency Response) or similiar topics which I read about in other posts, it's really the tuning that changes just by analyzing!

Im on Macbook Pro with Melodyne 4 Studio loaded as an insert in Pro Tools.

Do you maybe have any other suggestions in terms of software for tuning vocals?
