Ahoy ahoy,

enjoying the recent flood of Ableton Live packs released by DVT, I get the message that I lack authorization of each and every one of them I installed on my legit copy of Ableton Live. Which is kinda weird because I guess that's the common denominator for pirated software.

It appears DVT didn't remove the license check in their recent releases. So I think we're dealing with nukes here and if you're a legit user of Ableton Live, maybe think twice before installing them

 

Or just run the IO patch on your legit Live

And have fun with these packs

Alternatively you can install the "sharware Version" in another directory. Legit and "shareware" can exist side by side

 

In almost all cases it's just the samples that cause the problem. Just get rid of the samples, and the devices themselves seem to work fine. I am not sure if deleting the samples reduces functionality.

The thing is that there happens a license check immediately after the installation of the pack.
That's why I was referring to the packs as nukes.

 

sample magic Packs like Riemann Tech-house have the same issue. I Tried repatch Live 9.6, Then tried auth. in live 9.5. Nothing helped. Samples remain useless.

 

Yes, after installing it says "not authorized" and just close dialog and load instrument.
Work as expected.
But there is a different problem with max4live devices.
Load Ableton, it uses 250mb of RAM.
Load Dark Synth, Live uses now 800mb RAM.
Close Dark Synth, use OSCILLOT, Live uses now 2Gb of RAM !????
Close OSC, then load Konkrete 3 patch, Live uses now 4Gb of RAM.
Close all patches, channels, empty set - Live still using 4GB of RAM,
what the hell !!!
For example, load some instruments (Kontakt, Omnisphere) in S1 or Reaper and watch for memory, it will be handled ok.
Memory release is not properly handled. Maybe with last version of Live 9.6. Also from version to version Live becomes very slowest.

 

Here all packs work fine El capitan live 9.6. Only sample of konkrete are not licensed . all other run smooth

 

OK you're right: I've got a legit Live 9.6 Studio wich includes M4L(MaxForLive) license (only) but not a general Max license. IRCAMAX does not run properly with this lic.
When I "license" max with the keygen available on sister site(cave: cycling74 Max not Ableton Live), IRCAMAX2 works.
There are problems when starting some IRCAMAX demo apps freezing Live, but I don't know if that happens with the legit version as well.

 

Almost all the packs I wanted I already purchased. However, Oscillot is a great find! It runs great except for the info function but that`s probably my crappy graphics.

I would like to thank the contributer on our sister site for this great work.

 

simple the iO Patch are an conversation from AiR´s latest Live Crack + AiR´s latest .auz license and the auz license contains only the addon serials which was available this time AiR cracked Live .

newer Addons/Expansions needs new serial authorisation on the .auz file to decrypt/run those newer Addons/Expansions .

 

So hopefully, a new patch or etc. shall be here soon for us.

 

i dont think , AiR are basically gone who have made the .auz auth and the iO patch which is based on AiR´s work are just near 3 years old .

 

- OSCiLLOT : WAVE X oscillator doesn't work for me (no signal at output), same issue from friend's computer (Win10 x64 Home).
- IRCAMAX2 is working fine, except "Demo Songs" due to samples licensing problem.
- Polyphylla is working fine.
Used platform: Windows 8.1 x64 (VMware WS 12), Live 9.6 Suite x64 (io patch/.auz), Max 7.1 x64 (R2R) as "Max 4 Live".

 

Memory leaks. Weak memory optimization (allocation/free), surely Max...
