    Hello there guys,

I'm a happy owner of NI Komplete Audio 6, for my needs it's perfect; but it lacks volume (capacity) to bring the volume up of my Sennheiser HD 600 headphones. I mean, even with the knob it's pretty low volume, sometimes have to push it hard up to make it enough volume.

I've read there are some audio amplifiers on the market wich could help me. In this case:

    1. Wich one you recommend?

    2. Will this affect the quality for my "references" audio in my headphones? If so, changing my NI to other card would be the solution.

    What are your thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the help.

The PreSonus HP4 is a decent preamp, years on the market.
You could get it on eBay for like 40-50 bucks.

Hey, im new here (been reading the forums for years).

I bought a Presonus HP4 2 years ago and its great, sounds great and its made to last forever.

It has a option to mute the monitors, mono for mix testing, and 4 separate headphones volumen knobs.

JDSLabs Objective2, there aren't headphones that couldn't be amplified with it. It's $129 assembled from JDSLabs, but on Massdrop, it's for $60 from different manufacturer. Alternatively, you can build it yourself, parts are under $40.
O2 provides over 0.2W into 300ohm load (HD600, HD650), more than enough bring music to dangerously loud levels.

O2 is considered the best neutral amp in its class, and above. There's no audible coloration of the sound.
