iZotope’s has announced that their brand new DDLY Dynamic Delay effect for Windows and Mac OS is available for free download until March 10th 2016 ($49 standard price).

After releasing an updated version of the legendary Vinyl freeware lo-fi effect, iZotope has launched another excellent freebie, although this one is free for a limited time only. DDLY Dynamic Delay will be priced at $49 after March 10th this year, but until then everyone can download and register this plugin completely free of charge. If you add the plugin to your iZotope user account prior to March 10th, it’s basically yours to keep (meaning that you can activate it on your computer at any point in the future).

I registered it but I haven't even tried it extensively yet. Damn. It sounded good, when I shortly tried it. I think it's a better and more useful gift than Vinyl. Nice. I can't wait to try it in a project but my computer is a mess currently. I'm still deciding on which W7x64 lite to use for music. I had a misfortune to order a faulty hard disk for this new audio OS, for the first time in my life [yes, strange that], damn it, so I have to wait until they replace it. I can't wait to start using this new OS with all these new plugins...

 

now this isn't like a uhe etc "freebie" that bonks other, well, dubious shares from sister site is it?

 

I picked this up yesterday and installed it. I haven't been able to spend any time with it yet.

First impression: WTF is up with the GUI?

True, there's not enough contrast in the GUI. Size is big enough.
