From the Komplete 9 Ultimate collection I have:

Native.Instruments.Kontakt.5.v5.2.1 UNLOCKED-R2R

Native.Instruments.Kontakt.5.v5.3.0 UPDATE-R2R

But these are not yet installed, nor is any other version of Kontakt installed.

No other application in the Ultimate collection is installed as well. I'm starting from scratch.


Recently, I saw:

Native Instruments Kontakt 5 v5.5.2 WIN-Full UNLOCKED-Tracer available on AUDIOZ.


Should I install this Tracer version, rather than the two R2R versions?

What do you think? Thanks in advance!!

Tracer's is the latest, Tracers releases are good releases and you need the 5.5.2 Full one if you start from scratch.

I just read the NFO and in the RELEASE INFO Tracer said in the WHAT'S MISSED section that "You can't re-save cryped libs." Do you know what this means?

I'm not really sure about that one, but I think the latest r2r release gave to possibility to add a library to the library tab even if it's not one that "natively" supports this feature.I'm not absolutely sure though, maybe someone else can confirm. But the latest release from Tracer includes bugfixes from native instruments.

 

Thanks again! I hope someone knows the answer. I hope I can add third party libs with homemade nicnt files and wallpaper.

You should test that with tracer release, but I think homemade nicnt run fine on it, I have a few made by others that work.

 

If not... you can always browse to them...

 

The Latest R2R wouldn't add non-legit but proper libraries, spitfire and WA stuff, the tracer one worked fine and accepted my custom libs too.
