    Arturia has announced the release of 5 free updates for their software: ARP 2600 V 2.5.1, CS-80 V 2.5.1, minimoog V 2.5.1, Moog Modular V 2.6.1, and Prophet V 2.5.1.

The new versions come with enhanced performances in Analog Laboratory, faster User Interface and better export of preset banks. Particular attention has been given to the Moog emulations. The minimoog V now sports multiple MIDI port input, new MIDI control for switches and a brand new toolbar. Moog Modular V features better window resizing in Pro Tools (Mac OS X).

All updates are free for registered owners.

    All updates:
Compatibility with Analog Laboratory (for full plug-in editing mode on Mac OS X).
More responsive UI (Mac OS X).
Preset bank export issue fixed (Windows).

    CS-80 V 2.5.1:
Compatibility of Logic projects using version 2.0.

    Minimoog V 2.5.1 :
    Multiple MIDI port input.
MIDI control for switches possible again.
Toolbar look harmonization respective with other plug-ins.
    Renaming of 64-bit DLL (Windows).

    Moog Modular V 2.6.1 :
Better handling of window resizing on Pro Tools (Mac OS X).
    Renaming of 64-bit DLL (Windows).

    IMPORTANT NOTE :

If Cubase 5 from AiR (and/or any other e-Licencer DONGLE protected apps like Nexus 2, Groove Agent v2.0, Wavelab 6, etc.) is installed on your computer, search for SYSOEMU.DLL and GuaD.dll files (usually located in C:\Windows\SysWOW64) and move them to a safe place. You must do that BEFORE installing Arturia's updates.

If you CAN NOT find GuaD.dll on your system, it means you're not using the final version of SYNSOEMU.DLL (v3.1.0.0) which is deployed by "internal" AiR's releases (such as SX3, Hypersonic 2, Groove Agent v2, etc.), so forget it.

Now you can install Arturia's updates. Finally, when all installations are completed, move back the two DLLs to their original location (or in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Cubase 5).

    Why ?...

Because latest Arturia's updates contains a new version of LCC which deploy a fake SYNSOEMU.DLL and delete the GuaD.dll.

AiR's version of Cubase v5.1.2 can work with just the SYNSOEMU.dll. The GuaD.dll file was added as an emulation extension to make SYNSOEMU.dll work with "Internal" releases, such as Cubase SX3, Hypersonic 2, Virtual Bassist, etc...

GuaD.dll is installed by AiR's installers for these releases (along with SYNSOEMU.dll v3.1.0.0). The v3.1.0.0 version of the emulator was the final release and the GuaD.dll file is shown to be a dependency of this version.

The GuaD.dll file is also required by AiR's release of ReFX Nexus 2.

Cubase v5.1.2, Nuendo 4.3 and Wavelab 6 from AiR only require the SYNSOEMU.dll. All other Syncrosoft protected releases (apart from the Arturia and Rob Papen releases which use soft e-Licenser) require the additional GuaD.dll file and the final version of SYNSOEMU.dll.

Tested and working 100% in standalone and within Cubase v5.1.2 (AiR) on Windows 7 x64.
    Enjoy :grooves:

    Thanks!!
But my experience is that if you already have installed all the Arturia synths you dont have to do that synsoemu dll saving any more when you update them.

    Atleast not on WinXP
I could be wrong and now i have upgraded to Win 7 64 bit
So i maybe have to do that just in case something go wrong.
Anyway i always have the CB5 update from AIR saved on HD so i just have to run that to get the original synsoemu

Well on Win 7 it doesnt work as it did on Win xp
I uninstall cubase and installed it again
BUT i did not copy the guad.dll and now cubase search for that and also it seatch for synoemu.dll even though it exist strange

So now i have to uninstall everything including all arturia and cubase clean everything and start over again.

Stupid me i should have read Lord Gaga:s info more carefully.

I reinstalled Nexus after doing the updates but some of the expansions aren't working properly anymore.

Where can we find the latest version of these dll's if they aren't on our systems or have been overwritten???
