Hey guys, I'm currently in the process of resetting up my studio machine after an upgrade to the processor.

I'm using Maschine 2.4 Unlocked on windows 7 64bit

I was forced to reinstall windows during the process, this shouldn't of been a problem as I keep backups of all my Installers and my project files.

The expansions I'm trying to reinstall are the R2R hybrid releases.

The issue I'm having is this:

A lot of the expansions are asking for activation after installation. After a bit of head scratching I figured out that for some of the expansions I appear to have kept the ISO files but not the NI_Actv_* files that came with them. I've spent a good part of the day hunting the activation files down, and the ones I could find now work perfectly. But it appears at some point these files stop being included in the R2R releases. I cant activate the expansions without these activation files even though they install without complaint.

Weird thing is I definitely had all these expansions activated before I changed over my processor and reinstalled Windows. Is there something else I need to do activate the releases that came without the
NI_Actv_* files? I don't remember doing anything special last time besides the standard mounting the ISOs and running the installers.

It appears the activation files add 3 lines in the registry (KEY, SNO, and SYSTEMID) that are not added by the later R2R installers that come without NI_Actv_* files. It also appears that KEY and SYSTEMID are always the same string of 0's, the only field that changes is SNO (serial number). So maybe I just need to find someone who can send me the serials for the expansions I cant activate from their registry keys, and then add those into my registry?

I also have all these expansions working on my Macbook, so maybe there's a way I can extract the serial numbers from those copies? I had a look around the plists and the various other folders NI stores data in, but couldn't locate where the serials are stored on OSX. Maybe someone around here knows where those are stored?

Use the last R2R NI Keygen. It activates all expansions automatically.
