here is what I would like your help with

What kind of video card around 200.00 dollar

What is the beat version of OS X should I use

Should it be 32 or 64 bit

Your motherboard is Supported, i suggest you get some dedicated graphic card anything from Nvidia starting from 6th Generation...

i don't get the 32 64 bit OSX thing as all Mac OSX are 64bit noways..., i just suggest you either go for Mavericks or Yosemite...

if you're willing to use OpenSSH's Pro Tools Version go for Mavericks, if not go for yosemite...

i just wish you picked an i7 instead of i5...

if you have further questions ask...

here's some steps to follow :

Get a real Mac and follow one of there Tutos, depends on the OS X version you wanna install :

Mavericks :

Update to the last Bios version available for your Motherboard, then apply these to the Bios :

- Load the default settings
- Disable VT-d
- Set xHCI Auto mode
- Disable Intel Processor Graphic (I don’t need it)
- Activate xHCI Hand-Off
- Activate EHCI Hand-Off
- Set the config. SATA AHCI
- Set the Memory mode to "More stability" ( if not : random freezes)

I did not know they did not make 32 bit OS X anymore

I have the exact same motherboard as that, the same i5.
I would suggest going for 2 sticks of 8GB ram rather than 4 of 4GB. This way, if you ever need more, you have two spare slots still available.
I see you are looking for a video card, you "could" use the built in Intel HD 4600 graphics (they do work...I am using them) they might not be enough if you game but for my purposes (music primarily), it's fine. Note though, if you are going to use the intel 4600 graphics of the i5, you will need to do extra work to get it working at all on Mavericks (mavericks predates the 4600) . On Yosemite, it's no problem whatsoever.

Yeah, I didn't answer your question at all :P Just really wanted to give a bit of advice on other things.

Do yourself a favour and get a bigger one, even the 1TB EVO isn't that expensive anymore

 

Ah a richie rich comment i was looking for another SSD for my homebuilt PC guess what?
I could only afford up to 250 GB so i skip that for now 1TB cost 340$ in my country i could get a cheap "ready made" pc for that price

 

Don't skimp on the CPU, even if you have to starve for a while. Software becomes more capable in proportion to improvements in processing power. That is why older computer technology becomes obsolete.

Well, i have a hackintosh machine like this:

i7-4790k (4 core 8 threads)
Gigabyte H81M-HD3 (for my micro case)
Samsung Evo 250 GB 2.5 (bought 1 month ago)
1 TB harddrive 7200
1 TB hardrive 5400
ATI Radeon HD 5450 (working, but not using it. I'm using basic cpu videocard)
16 gb of ram (kingston i think)
300 W PS

that's it. Working fine with Yosemite 10.10.1

 

I'd also totally recommend a bigger ssd, at last 256gb, but i'd say 512 is a good choice to have projects on there and not just the system.

 

Go for the i7-4790k. It's a beast. I got mine for around 300$

 

Tonymac is your friend.

 

That has nothing to do with being rich. I am just realistic. Some Software do not let you install its content on a second drive while being a lot of Gigabytes. My first SSD was 120 GB as well and it was very fast full even while storing some contents on an external drive.
A Samsung EVO850 1TB costs 309 Euro in my country. This is a one time investment into space, silence and heat. How wants lound vibrating HDDs if you could have a whisper silent system ?
