My favorite single beastie, hands down, is the Multi-Effect Nebula Server Plugin.
WORTH EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR/EURO!
I tell people I like, if you don't know about Acustica Audio and their plugins, you're definitely missing out.
They OWN analog hardware emulation, like none I've ever heard to date.

They sample the frequency, harmonics and dynamic response of hardware. Remove the carrier signal
and create a dynamic library or plugin that can respond, just like the hardware, when your audio signal passes and triggers interacts with it. That's the quickest answer I could give but it's far more slicker with envelopes, time kernels, odd & even harmonics, and a lot of other juicy jargon. Bottom line, it sounds great and that's
why it's my favorite.

An honorable mention can go to the company itself and their "single" Aqua/Core sampled hardware plugins as well.
They sound just as awesome as a Nebula Server "Lib", but instantiate in a more practical manner.
These are very "GUI" friendly. E.g. Rather than loading separate Pre and EQ bands for a NEVE 1073 and/or 1081 EQ, you could pick up their NAVY plugin and get a more familiar "Hardware" GUI. I use both.
Some may think they're a little pricey, but they pay for themselves the second you hear them and know at that moment, It's like owning a great sounding, Class A, High End, even rare hardware, at the fraction of the cost.
