I am just wondering.
Can I use several iLok keys for one account on iLok dot com?
I want to sell a PT license and keep the install I have on my mac, can I just buy an extra iLok?

Nope once you sell or transfer that key, Your Blow tools will not work, with that ilok key ! wishful thinking though

 

It depends on how many licences are on the ilok. ie when you buy a PT HD license you'll have also non HD license which is transferable.

so blow tools decided to shit on me today telling me my licenses werent valid. Even though in my avid account i had the ALL CLEAR and green check mark saying my licenses are all good. Had to call pro fools support and they couldnt fix it so they gave me a 30 day license, and made me transfer to their webstore team, but they only work weekdays. goddamn not renewing anything after this, will probably use the pro fools version audioutopia released instead. this dongle crap is so fkn stupid, i didnt even do anything wrong

 

This kind of problem is very rare... might be a computer problem, installation issue or something like that... I used Ilok 1 and 2 for more than 10 years and never had a problem....did you try to restore your computer ?

 

no, Avid ACKNOWLEDGED that it was THEIR problem not mine, so thats why they had to deposit a temporary license into my account. I didnt even touch my subscription plan, it just stopped working.

 

If you remove the iLok key from a USB port to another maybe that can cause the problem.

strange, I had no problems for almost a decade with ilok (PT)
tho, I am wondering how long can that "dongle" last before it dies ?!?

 

Sometimes i'm wondering the same thing and how difficult it would be to recover licences without having ZDT coverage... Well we'll see.
