what program are you using to create the 3d models?

Nice work mate!
I'm interested too to know which soft you use to model the 3d knobs.
I'm able to make such works in SolidWorks but it's a mechanic design software lol
no use here. I use it for project and photorealistic renderings but can't do these things obviously.

for the modeling part, i always use Blender3D. i've learned 3D modelling with it over 8 years ago btw.
for other stuff such as rendering, exporting and so forth, i use 3D Max. for the texturing Photoshop!

For me the size is perfect, but I have a huge screen, you know.

 

it's just the background image that i will use btw. the knobs and buttons currently doesn't work

 

currently i work on a better skin. it will be at least 3 times bigger than the original. here is a test render of the background texture

I did this but it's nothing functional (yet!). I tried to make it happen as a VST using Sonic Birth. I have also attempted to make as MAX 4 Live instrument too. I got a bit further with that but never, ever finished it!



Oh and by the way what you are doing is great!!!

Well as I said It was a VST I was trying to create but through SonicBirth on the Mac. Of course there is the UNO-LX now, which is done very well. Being a novice I couldn't create a plugin to the level of the UNO-LX. I have been messing around with SonicBirth again and found there are a number of limitations which would make the Juno either very difficult or impossible to create.

The guy(s) at SonicBirth are working on SonicBirth 2, but progress is slow. I am looking forward to (hoping) that one day it will be a much more developed/mature version which will allow fully cross-platform based VST creation. There was talk about the future version being based on, or employing the JUCE framework. From my understanding - that is the way forward.

In the mean time I will be trying to make all sorts of mini plugins, but there are limits between my abilities, knowledge, will and limits beyond my control. That will not stop me trying stuff (and failing) though.
