PSP E27 is a multistage equalizer plug-in (VST3, VST, AAX and RTAS for Windows; AudioUnit, VST3, VST, AAX and RTAS for Mac OSX) modeled after the analog equalizer E27 produced by Avedis Audio Electronics. E27 offers three-band equalization with nine selectable frequencies in a standard 500x package. This equalizer offers +/-16dB of boost/cut at musicially selected frequency ranges, and offers gentle saturation. Low and high filters can work in bell or shelf mode with a single click. E27 is suitable for both mixing and mastering. PSP E27 offers additional preamp stage for global level control. This EQ plug-in catches nonlinear behavior of analog devices.

PSP is the sole developer and manufacturer of the PSP E27. Functionality and sound of the PSP e27 have been approved by Avedis Audio Electronics. PSP is responsible for all customer support.

    Look, Chachi...
There were absolutely NO links, there was No information, etc. (only a YouTube video) when the original post went up. They were added after @thantrax made the request, and I followed suit agreeing with him.

It's always convenient to, at the bare minimum, get at least the most basic information (such as the price) about a software release without having to visit the developer's site.

The condescending tone of your senseless post is unwarranted, unnecessary and unappreciated.

A note from PSP on the release:

We are aware of the fact that the released version of the PSP E 27 is not perfectly optimized (especially Windows version) and a little buggy (first time we have implemented VST3 format) but we have a saying that it is better to release a product before NAMM than never, even if it does not work ;-) We have some products in our portfolio which we had showed as almost ready at some NAMMs and we had never released them yet ;-0)

    Warm regards from Anaheim NAMM

PSP E27 SE (included in the bundle) is a simplified version of PSP E27, our multistage equalizer plug-in modeled after the analog E27 produced by Avedis Audio Electronics. The PSP E27se is based on the same great audio engine, but it has a redesigned, simpler GUI making quick adjustments a snap. The PSP E27se is equipped with one E27 and one PA11 module. It’s perfect for both mono tracks and stereo stereo in which you don’t need seperate settings for the Left and Right channels.

    2017.09.18 - PSP E27 v1.5.1

    Dear user,
We are pleased to inform that a new version of PSP E27 (1.5.1) has been released. In this update we have added some new features, new presets, and changed the authorization system to use the PACE system (a hardware ilok dongle is NOT required). The update is free for all registered users and you still get access to the old version of the plug-in with the old authorisation system thru your account at our user area.

    BUG FIXES:
    1. RTAS version of PSP E27se was unavailable - fixed,
    2. There was a crash while turning knobs in some special cases - fixed,
    3. PSP E27 was resized properly in Reaper 4 (32/64 bit), but not in newest Reaper - fixed,
    4. Minor bugs fixed.

    CHANGES:
    1. New 30-day demo time
    2. Controls are set to default value while holding Alt (Protools’ user request),
    3. Changed scroll behavior for 2-state controls (user’s request)
    4. Knobs in PSP E27se are set to default while hold CMD/Ctrl,
    5. Manual update.

    KNOWN ISSUES:
    1. Session are not properly recalled in StudioOne 3 (only VST3 issue)

We understand that feelings run high about the PACE authorization system, because so many audio plug-in use it. We did not make this decision lightly, and we wanted to explain our reasons to you.

Authorization and copy protection is a pain not only for every legitimate user but also for us - developers. For the last couple of months, problems with our in-house authorization system has been our main cause for support requests, especially on macOS. It seems every OS update brought us new hassles and headaches. We are not a large company with dedicated support staff and programmers who just deal with authorization code; it was getting to the point that trying to keep our authorization system working was taking time away from PSP Audioware’s real mission: developing professional audio processors. We went looking for what technology is out there that other audio plug-in companies are using. The undeniable truth is that a lot of audio companies use PACE technology successfully. They’ve improved the speed at which they support updates to Windows and macOS considerably over the years. Many professionals in the audio world already have iLok accounts with hundreds of licenses that they use without issue so choosing PACE seemed the most seamless and trouble free option.
Our main goal is for this transition to be as seamless as possible to our customers, thus:

    • All forthcoming updates to existing plug-ins and new plug-ins in the future will use PACE. Versions of software available prior to this announcement will continue to use our in-house authorization system
    • We won't change our prices to pass our extra costs onto our users.
    • We intend to keep our license support as direct as before.
    • We will allow license transfers after initial approval without charging you the PACE license transfer fee.
    • We do NOT require you to use iLok hardware dongle - you can select hard drive authorization if you prefer.
    • For your convenience you can activate your license in three separate locations, each of which can be either a computer or an iLok key (2nd generation or above).
The transition of all our authorizations to PACE will take time, and we appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our user community as we make these changes.

    Warm regards from Warsaw
