I can literally crash it on demand. All I have to do is drag the LFO "arrow" things to a parameter and my DAW closes itself.

I found this solution when I googled the problem, but I would like a few people to gimme input/info or confirm this method can fix the crashes.....
    Code:
The trick is to delete the user database file @

    E:\Documents and Settings\******\Local Settings\Application Data\Native Instruments\Massive\
I know Im not giving version numbers etc. but this is off the top of my head. My DAW and internet machine are different.

    Thanks!

Yea this method works. gets annoying though. get a version that does not crash.
Mine just stopped crashing when I switched to a mac :)

When you say this method gets annoying... does this mean this needs to be done regularly?

To be honest its can be pretty erratic at times. I have had periods where this didn't happen for months. It then started to escalate and get progressively worse. In the end it was happening multiple times in a day. Only some versions do it as far as I am aware. Hasn't happened to me in about 2 years.

im using 1.1.5 if this helps.

all will eventually crash. The only one that doesn't crash is ASSiGN's v1.3 ISO. That is the only one that wont crash under extreme conditions.
Plus after you keep deleting the database file, it will crash again and you keep have to delete it...well for me anyways.

    LOL@crash on demand

It used to be unusable because of the crashing, but after the latest "scene" release all is well. :mates:

I always had problems with Massive in any "trial" version, so I simply had to purchase komplete 8 and razor.
and fortunately now everything works fine... oh yes, I really love that (german) stuff!

and I'd like to spend real money for Ableton Live 9 asap! but, ähm... we will see.. :snuffy:
