You need to be connected to the network card, I just disabled my network card and then Waves asking me for activating so your network card must be enabled.

 

edit: nvm lol apparently fl was searching for plugins in another folder which contained vst3, which i never changed after the patch . removing them fixed the problem . bless you $$$

 

I dont use Pro Fools but Vst is working fine with patch up until v30 after that Waves made the licence shit app
And if you read other answers in the thread they got AAX to work with v9r24 patch remember to copy the Wavesshell files to right folder and overwrite them i also saw someone who uploaded prepatched AAX files do a search and as i said if you use 24 patch NO NEED FOR KEYGEN only if you use later patch from R2R you need Keygen aswell

Hmm no you want i had a previouse Win 7 installed with no netcard activated (had to activate netcard for the new ToonTrack to work last spring and later i formated C: and reinstalled Win 7 as i could not even connect to internet even with netcard activated i wanted my free version for Win10 which i havent installed yet "thank god")
And before that network driver install and formatting reinstall all my waves worked fine so no netcard was needed atleast not for me

If you use v9r24 patch you dont need Keygen and there is also two folders in registry you must delete to complete the uninstall so there is no trace for early Waves versions

Uninstall Waves BUT BEFORE YOU DO if you have acoustic impulses and other IR:s and artist presets installed move those to desktop or wherever you like of course dont keep it in waves folder though.

After uninstall go to programdata there is a Waves folder there delete it

Open regedit search for anything saying Waves delete everything

No you can reinstall patch with v9r24 and of you go

Its explained in the R2R nfo for patch v9r24

Cool dbmuzik method works!

Now -- How on earth do I get the shell to vst to work. It says 0 created dlls.

I copied the shell2vst where the waveshells are in the program/waves folder ( not the vsti one) and it doesn't work. Can some share their .dlls that they created so i can get it to work on my win 7 32 bit machine?

 

Mine install correctly but i'm having a problem with emo-5 and Saphira.
They were working before and they show up in the license center as fully licensed but i get an odd error in P.T (1002)
and i can't find any fix for it.Anyone else have the same problem?

 

You must have 164 Items on wlc manager.

Only real difference between the releases I mentioned is, it included an simple installer instead of copy and pasting the files into the AAX PT folder.

Greetings! Just so I am clear and get this right, when you say to run the 927 patch then the v924 patch, this is AFTER the installation of v30 correct? I just want to say that you're a legend. I've been trying to get my VST plugins working in Protools for ages and nothing worked (e.g. FXpansion). I use mostly legally acquired plugins (or free ones) if I can help it, but most of them are in VST format so wouldn't work in Protools. I also really wanted to use a copy of C4 that I'd downloaded (yeah I'll buy it ONE day) because I'm doing radio station imaging all week from home and it gets the mixes a bit tighter (the stations I work for have it so I've never needed it till now). After searching around I found a copy of Trans VST, I managed to wrap the VST's I wanted, then after a fair bit of mucking around moving and renaming files (it kept thinking there were already existing RTAS versions of the Waveshell) I managed to get the Waves C4 wrapped too. Top job!

 

I Feel like I have tried EVERYTHING in this regard.

So basically I installed waves v9r30. Patched them using the patcher. Then I followed all of these steps. Initially when I wrapped them (before using the fixer) Protools 12 (not legit) recocgnised and scanned for them but came up with an error saying cannot load plugins because they are not valid .aax files. Now after having applied the fixer and moving the aax files into C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\ , it seems they are again invisible to protools. Any ideas as to what im doing wrong?

I also noticed that all of the wrapped aax files are only 369kb. Is this something going wrong with transvst?

Hey, All. I’m having a strange problem installing v9r30 on a windows 10 machine. If I run Adobe Audition, all the waves VSTs load fine. But if I run ProTools, the loading window will say that the licences are not found.

Yes, I copied:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells\WaveShell-AAX 9.3.aaxplugin
C:\Program Files (x86)\Waves\Waveshells\WaveShell-AAX 9.61.aaxplugin
To:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\

Like I said, I got VSTs working fine, so I must be doing something wrong when it comes to AAX. I’m not seeing it though. Any help would be great. Thanks

Finally got it working. I used PART of the method outlined by user matrx10503 above. Specifically, I downloaded the AAX file, and used it to replace my AAX file. Everything seems to be working great. Thanks man!
